  • General Duties and Responsibilities
  • 7. Ensure all items are sorted, counted and marked correctly
  • 8. Ensure the Guests' needs are met in time and to the set standards
  • 9. Receive Guest Laundry and dry cleaning; check the items against the list submitted by the Guest
  • 10. Sort out, segregate and check items prior to marking
  • 11. Ensure items are ready for delivery as per the specified times
  • 12. Responsible for any missing items and mishandled Guest articles
  • 13. Inspect and sort cleaned Guest articles according to the room number, ensure they are ready for delivery after verifying they are properly cleaned and pressed
  • 14. Keep work area clean and in orderly condition
  • 15. Ensure proper operation and care of machinery in the laundry
  • 16. Report any loss or damage of fixtures and equipment to the Laundry Supervisor/ Manager
  • 17. Assist in helping out in other areas of the Laundry when necessary
  • 18. Assist and train other Laundry members in the process of marking
  • 19. Assist in inventories
  • 20. Familiar with and carry out the policies and procedures set by the hotel
