INPATIENT;

• Oncology Medicine Preprations by manual and closed system.
• Following proper aseptic technie hie preparin infusions and other IV preparations.
• Preparation of IV antibiotics, IV electrolytes and TPN admixtures
• Prepare the medications to all inpatients including around the clock unit doses as well as patient discharge medications by manual and Autoprint prepackaging machine.
• Prepration of oral formulations(Tamiflu ,Magic mouthwash)
• Monthly expiry checking.
• Participating in Annual inventory counting in Inpatient pharmacy.
• Requesting fluids and supplies from store weekly.
• Provide clinical information to the hospital staffs regarding

the safe use of high alert medications, concentrated

electrolytes, look alike Sound alike (LASA) medications

and their storage.

OUTPATIENT ;

• Checking prescriptions for errors & making sure they are appropriate for patients.
• Measuring, packaging, labeling and recording medications

issued to patients.

• Instructing patients on how to use medications, possible side effects and storage.
• Contacting and working closely with other healthcare professionals.
• Answering questions from patients and staff about medicines.
• Ensuring the accuracy of all prescriptions, products and services supplied.
• Helping to develop the pharmacy's electronic discharge system.

Managing and resolving complaints.

• Talking to regular patients to see how their treatment is going.
• Pharmacy Inventory Management.
• Sell OTC medicines.
• Manage, supervise and train pharmacy support staff.
