  • Collect BOQ, budget, quotations and value engineering details considered at tender stage of project from the estimation team, learnt specs while floating queries & processing orders.
  • Arrange prequalification, materials, drawings and sample submittals from suppliers and subcontractors, liaise with the project team and suppliers for approvals and status updates.
  • Arrange local and overseas materials and machines as per requirements and specifications.
  • Negotiate, Incoterms with suppliers, track shipment and coordinates for clearances.
  • Collate purchase requisitions, sending RFQ's and arranging quality Material, Machinery, Services to projects, office, camp at competitive prices within budget & best payment terms.
  • Fix negotiated, discounted prices for consumables, regular using and PPE materials with key suppliers, releases bulk quantity blanket purchase orders for season and yearly consumption.
  • Brings budget savings, variations to the knowledge of the Managers with justifications, obtains signatures on comparative sheets as per the differentiated values and hierarchies.
  • Collect the variation orders / instructions, BOQ's, MRP & Budgets from project team, Q.S before starting procurement process for variations works and obtains approvals to proceed.
  • Liaise with suppliers, internal accounts and project teams to clear the invoices, payables, LIC discrepancies of accounts and delivery lead time, production dispute of the projects.
  • Liaise with suppliers and Q.A / Q.C team for warranties and as built drawings submittal, project handing over, close out, TOC documentation as per the necessary support required.
  • Support the estimation team to get the latest technologies, best prices by introducing new vendors and subcontractors, notify them if any materials and services exceeds the budget.
  • Approves the warehouse purchase requests, processing orders, coordinates with suppliers for timely deliveries of ordered materials, verify price and quality of the received materials.
  • Prepares presentations and provides the on job and off the job training to the site administrators and store keepers to handle the materials, processing and maintaining the documentation.
  • Plans the min, maximum & reorder levels of the critical, fast moving and consumables stock, updates the stock levels as per the current, future jobs, seasonal and the site requirements.
  • Visit project sites, discuss with project managers regarding program of work, suggest slow, non-moving, damaged material available in store and other sites to utilize as alternatives.
  • Undertakes any other ad-hoc duties as assigned and required, completes the task within given time frame, submit completion reports to the concerned manager with remarks.
  • Staying updated with technology, new products & solutions by visiting trade fairs & supplier, proposing solutions to project & estimation team for considering, updates internal data bank.
