• Review customer inquiries and provide technical solutions for effective problem resolution.

• Prepare technical specifications and scope of work for marine service projects.

• Plan, assign, and supervise the engineering team for installation, retrofitting, and maintenance activities on vessels and marine equipment.

• Monitor the performance of team, navigation systems and onboard equipment, ensuring timely completion of repairs, retrofitting works & correct operation of equipment.

• Conduct onboard service visits for inspections, troubleshooting, and technical support when required.

• Ensure the issuance of accurate service reports related to maintenance, fault finding, inspections, and service attendance.

• Review and approve technical repairs, modifications, and system upgrades.

• Monitor inventory and ensure availability of spare parts and consumables required for service operations.

• Maintain statutory certificates, technical documentation, and compliance records for vessels, equipment & engineers.

• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports related to vessel services, engineer attendance and operational activities.

• Ensure continuous technical training and competency development of engineers and technical staff.

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, service providers, clients, and agents to ensure smooth project execution.

• Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and minimize equipment downtime.

• Ensure compliance with environmental regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.

• Prepare, review, and approve electrical drawings for shipbuilding projects, including system diagrams, connection drawings, foundation fabrication drawings, nesting drawings, installation drawings, arrangement drawings, and cable booklets.

• Manage material planning, procurement coordination, and inspection in accordance with production drawings to ensure smooth execution of electrical works.

• Supervise and execute electrical outfitting activities onboard vessels, including installation of cable trays, penetrations, foundations, and embarkation of switchgear panels, navigation systems, and communication equipment.

• Lead cable laying, cable termination, and commissioning of switchgear panels, alarm and monitoring systems, safety systems, navigation equipment, and communication systems onboard vessels.

• Perform operation, testing, and troubleshooting of electrical, navigation, and communication systems during installation and commissioning stages.

• Ensure strict compliance with safety procedures and quality standards during all electrical and electronic installation activities.

• Prepare trial documentation and testing procedures based on system capabilities, operational functions, and end-user requirements.

• Manage technical procurement of electrical and electronic equipment required for shipbuilding and marine system installations.

• Coordinate and correspond with OEMs (Original Equipment Manufacturers) for technical support, equipment procurement, and resolution of technical issues.

• Plan and schedule electrical installation and administrative activities to optimize manpower utilization and minimize project timelines.

• Act as the technical point of contact for resolving design-related and field execution issues during project implementation.

• Support and successfully conduct Setting to Work (STW), Harbor Acceptance Tests (HAT) and Sea Trials (SATs) to ensure proper system functionality and final qualification by the end user.
