• Prepared the section for KHDA DSIB inspection, trained teachers to use assessment data analysis to support students learning such as CAT 4, IBT and internal assessment results.
• I was able to improve Performance Standard 1 in English and Science to Good and V Good in Phase 3 & 4 respectively, PS 2- Outstanding, PS 3- Good, PS-6 – Good from Acceptable
• Initiated the Model UN club in school with students participating in regional and international Model UN Conferences, organized inter-school MUN conferences since 2015, and international programmes such as participation in Global Social Leadership projects and teaching of SDG’s with AISSEC, UAE Chapter.
• Responsible for teacher recruitment, sending teams for school canvassing for admissions, curriculum planning, syllabus distribution, planning workload, and school and teacher time table, and planned day to day operations for smooth running of the school.
• Efforts resulted in the School’s feature in the October issue of Teacher Magazine, an editorial venture of ACER, Australia.
• As a founding Principal I was able to achieve 640 admissions in the first year of school operations from KG – Gr VIII.
• Worked on behalf of Educomp Pvt Ltd, India, to help improve Rising Sun Public School, Karnal, India as it had a new leadership and the school was struggling with poor attainment, school discipline, and lack of teacher training.
• Was given the added responsibility of supervision of the school boarding house which had 60 students and revamped the boarding house dormitories, nutrition menu in the dining mess, planned a Standard Operating Procedure for operation of the boarding house, and supervised evening study hours with remedial input personally for all students.
• Joined the school as Teacher of English Language and Literature. Was the Editor of the school magazine- Grapevine- and ensured it maintained a high quality coverage all aspects of daily life and achievements of the students and, in turn, the school.
• Established the school Model UN and the students participated in high level MUN conferences at the national and international level while winning top awards such as the Best International Delegation at Connecting Classroom UNA-USA Model UN, London; and the Connecting Classroom Programme, an educational initiative of British Council. My efforts led to establishing partnership with Claverham Community College, East Sussex, UK.
• Earned the DFID reciprocal Visit Grant for teachers in 2011 and 2012 from British government and visited our partner school on a reciprocal teacher exchange programme.
• Initiated the British Council International School Award (ISA). Pinegrove was awarded the ISA in 2012.
