RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Technical Operations:
• Studio Gallery operation support including Vision mixer, Audio Mixer, Video Router, VizRT, iNews, Avid Airspeed and FastServ Playouts
• Technical Support and Services:
• To Check and prepare the facility according to the Director and Producers need for Live and Post-production before program
• Responsible for delivering a high quality support service and to develop appropriate solutions to incidents and problems using existing facility during Live and Post Production
• Minimizing loss of service at times of equipment failure by rapidly identifying and implementing alternative methods of service provision
• Responsible of all outdoor events from our OB Van
• Installation, Integration & up-gradation:
• Integrate EVS with Piero for sports channel
• Integration of Stype Red Spy AR
• Work closely with the System Integrator for the Up-gradation of Studio facility
• Testing of equipment after installation
• Save and backup all configurations
• Addition of equipment if required
• Addition of equipment in OB Van
• Keep Up-to-Date all Firmware, software & configuration of our equipment inside facility
• Maintenance:
• Responsible for the maintenance of our Broadcast Facility, which includes Studios and all Broadcast Equipment
• Analyzing and rectifying technical faults on equipment and systems
• Maintenance of our OB van equipment
• Building management system support
• Logs, Reports and Technical Approvals:
• Make reports if incident or a problem happened during Live and Post Production and share with other Co-leagues
• Follow up for the faulty equipment given to Vendor for repair
• Make Schedule for the preventive maintenance of Studios and Broadcast Equipments
• Communicating effectively with members of the team and other colleagues
• Work closely with procurement department for the Technical approvals of Broadcast related equipment
• Preparation of BOQ when required
• Suggest model of Broadcast Equipment on the request of production department and compare specifications prior to purchase order

• To ensure availability of Technical System and infrastructure providing 24X7 Television Broadcast, Post Production and ancillary Services

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

− Manages all Engineers & Technicians in the Service and Technical Department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.

− On Demand Installation/System Integration, configuration and maintenance of Broadcast Equipments.

− Troubleshoot Hardware and Software issues in all kind of Broadcast Equipments.

− Warranty claim of all Broadcast Equipments which we have sold to customer and charged repairing for all Equipments those are out of warranty.

− Prepare repairing Quotations for Equipments.

− Communicating courteously with customers by telephone, email and give bench-to-bench support to customer.

− Give On-site support to our value customers.

− Correspondence with all Broadcast Venders regarding service and support.

− Installation and Configuration of Video conferencing Cameras through ISDN and LAN.

− Design and Installation of IP based Surveillance & Access control System.

− Installation of Media Monitoring Cell.

− Give training to customer as per requirement.

− Keeping accurate records of discussions or correspondence with customer and all venders.

− Installation and configuration of Multimedia Projectors.

− Maintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenance.

− Sale of all Spare parts of broadcast equipments according to BOQ.

− Make recommendations about purchasing of Spare parts

− In-house maintenance of all Electronic Equipments.

− Also operate EVS Multicam LSM in Sports Events in Pakistan.

− Strong Computer Networking Knowledge.

− Organize demos of Broadcast Equipments and arrange necessary items required in Demo.

− Train staff on existing and upcoming technologies.

− Supervise the installation of Conference Room equipped with Video conferencing system, Data Video MS-900, and audio Mixer in Governor House of Kandhar Afghanistan.

− Up-gradation of 2 PCR in AAJ TV.

− Installation of 12 Camera fully Digital OB Van.

− Supervise installation and integration of DSNG Vans which is equipped with Patriot Drive away, Tandberg DSNG for Dawn News & TV1.
