• Participating in Design efforts over the continuum of product development and / or Life cycle management /Sustenance engineering.
• Coordinate with the cross-functional teams (i.e. Marketing, Quality, Manufacturing Technology, Operations etc.) to deliver the design solutions.
• Develop technical design and / or verification documentations, draft engineering and test plans, drawings, 3D models as needed.
• Optimize product design, material selection, product features and process design based on the project needs.
• Ensure the design considerations are embedding all applicable DFX (Design for excellence) aspects including manufacturability, serviceability, reliability and safety.

Project: ANTENNA HOLD DOWN STEERING MECHANISM

Description: This mechanism is used in GSAT-7A, which is an exclusive communication satellite. Antenna H actuators, and also resists the load while launching.

Project: HOLD DOWN MECHANISM BOTH STOWED & RELEASED CONDITION

Description: This mechanism used in SCATSAT-1, which is a remote sensing satellite. Mainly used for oceanographic studios Hold down mechanism resists the load while launching. Software used: NX-7.5, TEAMCENTER.9.1
