· Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental strategies and plans to meet SAA’s current and emerging recruitment needs
· Contribute to the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and frameworks related to manpower planning & recruitment in compliance with the applicable statutory laws, regulatory standards, government reporting requirements and best practice guidelines
· Provide advice and guidance to the management on manpower planning and recruitment related matters
· Ensure up to date job descriptions are in place for all roles in line with the approved organization structure
· Collate departmental requirements for the annual manpower planning and budgeting process
· Review and verify recruitment requisitions from department managers in line with the approved budget and manpower plan
· Lead the coordination with HRD for selection of high calibre candidates in line with SAA’s Emiratization targets
· Oversee identification and utilization of suitable screening and selection methodologies / assessment tools as necessary to ensure the best fit candidates are hired for SAA
· Supervise the interview process to ensure all necessary formalities are completed in a comprehensive and efficient manner and participate in interviews as part of the selection panel as required
· Oversee management of the CV database and selection of recruitment agencies & outsourced manpower supply agencies for sourcing suitable candidates
· Supervise the onboarding process for new recruits once all necessary approvals are obtained and maintain oversight of the employee orientation process as designated ensure the transition is managed in a seamless manner
· Ensure participation in career fairs on behalf of Sharjah Airport and work closely with the Training & Career Development section in delivering skill enhancement initiatives for young Emirati National students related recruitment & interviewing skills, in collaboration with the Ministry of Emiratization and related academic institutions
· Stay abreast with international best practice guidelines related to manpower planning & recruitment and collaborate with other government entities for alignment and adoption
· Prepare and submit regular and ad hoc reports for government entities and management as required
· Set and communicate performance expectations to team members and provide coaching to the team to address development areas that will enhance individual and team performance
