Joined CONVERSION as Senior Electrical Engineer on The Valley - EMAAR LILLIA Project which consists of 406 Town Houses G+1 and Community Centre

Conversion Electromechanical is an electromechanical contracting company established in 2005 in the United Arab Emirates, It has been providing excellence in the Gulf region, particularly in the United Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Qatar. It has executed entire electromechanical works for all types of projects such as Hospitals, hotels, shopping malls, residential complexes, and private commercial / residential buildings, villas and factories in all sectors of real estate and infrastructure

As a Senior Engineer, my Key Roles & Responsibility are included:

1- Design and development of electrical systems and components:

• Lead the design of electrical systems, equipment, and components
• Perform electrical calculations and Load Balancing

2- Project management and oversight:

• Oversee and manage electrical engineering projects from inception to completion
• Coordinate with other disciplines like architects, structural engineers, and project managers
• Prepare project schedules, budgets, and cash flow projections
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards

3- Technical leadership and mentorship:

• Supervise and guide a team of junior electrical engineers
• Review and check the work of junior engineers to ensure accuracy and quality
• Share technical knowledge and best practices with the team
• Stay up-to-date with the latest electrical engineering technologies and standards

4- Stakeholder management and approvals:

• Liaise with clients, authorities, and other stakeholders
• Obtain necessary approvals from local authorities for electrical systems
• Provide technical support and presentations to clients and consultants 5- Quality assurance and compliance:
• Ensure electrical designs comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations
• Implement quality control processes and procedures
• Maintain documentation and records for the electrical systems

Joined TELCO as an Electrical Site Engineer on the Bloom Central - Marriott Hotel and developed to a Project Engineer overseeing two to three multimillion Dirhams construction projects at a time. TELCO is a medium-scale electrical contracting and general maintenance company established more than three decades ago delivered some iconic construction projects such as Sail Tower - Al Raha, Moon Flower City - Musaffah, and Marriot Hotel − Abu Dhabi. With TELCO, I have worked in various projects including villas, compounds, residential and commercial towers and buildings, hotels, district cooling plants, and power distribution substations from project initiation stage, throughout project planning and execution, and up to project closure. As a Project Engineer, my role covers overseeing day to day project management and construction activities from A to Z and reporting to the Manager of Projects on the performance and progress of the projects as detailed below.

• Successfully delivered of a couple of major projects within planned time, cost, and quality
• Closed many deals with suppliers and subcontractors with excellent savings on material and labor costs
• Proposed successful alternative engineering solutions with good cost savings for several projects
• Developed strategic business relationships with the top suppliers and subcontractors in the market
• Preserved the team spirit and a friendly work environment, promoted team motivation, and stimulated the team to deliver excellent outputs and meet the tight work schedule

• Main Roles & Responsibilities:
• Reviewing & following up with material submittals & Shop Drawings preparations prior to transmitting to Main Contractor & Consultant
• Following up with Engineers and Supervisors about the monthly progress in the site which covering the documentations and installations work
• Ensuring that the project is running under the required schedule without any kind of delay
• Ensuring that the project complies with all contractual and regulatory requirements
• Maintaining and following all the safety rules & precautions at the site ensuring safety to staff as well as attending the mandatory safety meetings
• Ensure that Testing and Commissioning is compiled as per project specification
• Attending Meetings & Site Walks with Civil & MEP contractors
• Coordinating with mechanical and civil engineers to make the site more organized and the work process more efficient
• Attending weekly meetings to discuss project progress, required electrical clearances and any electrical design changes
• Supervising and inspecting the installation of all electrical systems on site including Power and Lighting systems as well as Low Current Systems such as Fire Alarm, Central Battery, Access Control, BMS, Structure Cabling and Public Address
• Interacting with Main Contractor & Consultant at site
• Coordinate & finalize all the documentation works.
