• Worked with one of the leading European healthcare operators in
  designing the Hospital's Patient Experience Model, including Customer Journeys, executable business processes, and operations’ requirements of a 150-bed surgical hospital.
• Designed the operations of an in-hospital rehabilitation center: Scope of services, Processes, Equipment, Manpower plan, Technology, Space program and layout, etc.

The OSC is founded on the concept of "Group Practice" model. The concept is based on creating a new treatment model for patients who suffer from musculoskeletal disorders by concentrating on orthopaedic sub-specialties (Spine subspecialty, joints sub-specialty, paediatric orthopaedic subspecialty, sports medicine subspecialty, hand surgery subspecialty, foot and ankle subspecialty). This concept represents the strength points and the supporting pillars for the project.

Responsibilities:

• Oversaw day-to-day business and clinical activities by establishing goals, objectives, standards of performance and policies and procedures supervising 36 employees.

Key Achievements:

Re-engineered the primary services, processes & technology of the clinic which resulted in:
• 65% reduction in the % of “No Show” for physical therapy sessions
• 78% reduction in the customer average waiting time for a medical visit
• Significant reduction in operational error
• Significant reduction in claim rejection rate
• 28% reduction the patients’ complaints

Introduced new services to enhance the patients’ experience and support the clinic with new revenue streams:
• Orthopedic and home healthcare supply shop
• Lymphoedema management utilizing innovative techniques
• Home-Based Physical Therapy

• Evaluate and treat patients with Hand & Upper Extremity orthopedic and neurological conditions
• Oversee the Physical Therapy unit

Responsibilities:
Teach Occupational Therapy and Medical Rehabilitation subjects to
undergraduate students. Teaching methods included lectures, seminars,
tutorials, practical demonstrations and field work.

Key Achievements:

• Designed the Hand Therapy Stream as part of a revised Occupational Therapy Bachelor Degree Curriculum at the University of Jordan
  
• Participated in designing the Occupational Therapy Diploma Degree
  Curriculum for a university in Palestine.

Facilitated research study to determine the most effective seat cushions for wheelchair users in nursing homes that included evaluation, pressure mapping and data collection and analysis.

• Contributed in delivering courses and acted as a clinical supervisor in the practical field.
• Gathered, arranged and corrected research data to create representative graphs and charts highlighting results for presentations.
• Validated incoming data to check information accuracy and integrity while independently locating and correcting concerns.
