Dr. Ahmed Agiel is an esteemed Assistant Professor in the Department of Architectural Engineering at the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU). With a Ph.D. in Built Environment from the University of New South Wales, Australia, he has specialized in applying Personal Construct Theory to evaluate perceptions of architecture and the built environment. With over three decades of professional and academic experience, he has published extensively in journals and conference proceedings on topics ranging from emotional well-being in architectural spaces to material properties for heritage conservation. As a principal investigator on multiple research grants, Dr. Agiel has been focused on developing new methods for assessing quality of life in educational settings. His extensive research and dedication to educational innovation make him a valuable asset in the interdisciplinary study of human interaction with built environments.
