Branch Manager
- Responsible for the efficient daily operation of the branch including sales, customer service, security and safety in accordance with the organisation’s objectives
- Also responsible for effectively leading a team of cashiers providing leadership, training and supervision and adequately managing resource utilization and monitoring the performance and productivity of the branch
- This role will report to the General Manager
- Promote a sales and service culture through coaching, guidance and staff motivation
- Monitor staff performance and ensure additional training is provided where necessary
- Effectively manage resource utilization ensuring adequate staffing levels
- Maintain staff paperwork and forward to Head Office, e.g
- Sickness Certs
- Coordinate with the General Manager with regard to staff disciplining
- Ensure Front Office procedures and controls are being adhered to by branch staff
- Ensure procedures are being followed with regard to the handling of physical cash and there is a high level of security awareness at all times
- Ensure User Profiles on the Front Office payment processing systems are kept up to date
- Monitor the day-to-day operation of the Anti-Money Laundering procedures
- Monitor the knowledge and competency of the branch staff to ensure there is awareness and vigilance with regard to Anti-Money Laundering at all times
- Coordinate all communication between Head Office and branch staff
- Manage the end of day cashier balancing (R1) and prepare all necessary documentation for Head Office.
