  • Collaborates with University President to understand the University goals and strategy related to staffing, recruiting, and retention.
  • Plans, leads, develops, coordinates, and implements policies, processes, training, initiatives, and surveys to support the organizations human resource compliance and strategy needs.
  • Administers or oversees the administration of human resource programs including, but not limited to, compensation, benefits, and leave; disciplinary matters; disputes and investigations; performance and talent management; productivity, recognition, and morale; occupational health and safety; and training and development.
  • Identifies staffing and recruiting needs; develops and executes best practices for hiring and talent management.
  • Monitors and ensures the organizations compliance with MOHRE, MOE and CAA standards in the UAE.
  • Develops and implements unit budget.
  • Facilitates professional development, training, and certification activities for university staff.
  • Performs other duties as required and assigned by the University President.
  • Responsible to establish new HR unit at Al Falah University in 2015.
  • Accountable for all the aspects of Human Resources, recruitment of academic and administrative staff, staffing and retention, policies and procedures, workforce planning, performance appraisal, implementation of UAE labor law and the CAA standards (Ministry of Higher Education, UAE), compensation and benefits, staff grievances and end of service benefits
  • Weekly, monthly and annual reports to the University President and Chancellor.
  • Responsible for health insurance policies for staff and dependents, travel plans of academic and administrative staff
  • Human Resource management, policies and procedures, vision mission, objectives and goals
  • Employees professional training and development
  • Payroll Management and HR petty cash
  • Pension contribution for GPSSA UAE, and GCC countries.
