  • Monitor all Telecom Radio & Network systems (VHF, Mobile Radio, Air-to-Ground, Public Address, Paging, SCADA Tanker Loading, Microwave, Telephone, Surveillance Cameras, etc.)
  • Establish radio contacts with Tankers intending to call at Zirku Port for crude loading and co-ordinate with port controller (Das) for arranging Support vessels, Pilots, Tugs, Mooring Boats, Pilot Boats, for berthing and pass on updated information to Zirku Control Center (ZCC), and Oil Movement Controller (OMC) and Zirku marine.
  • Continuous monitoring of tanker loading radio channels and maintaining radio checks to ensure no loss of radio communication during loading period.
  • Co-ordinate with Shipping Agents regarding information of Tankers as per instructions from Marine T/L, PPA & OMC.
  • Report important marine related incidents immediately to Marine Team Leader & PPA.
  • Maintain time sheet and hourly record cargo figures throughout the loading.
