- we have all departments including orthopedics, gynecology,generalsurgery, ENT,urology,gastrosurgery, oncosurgery and neurosurgery and plastic surgery.
- anaesthesia is given for all patients including patients with multiple comorbidities (DM ,HTN, CAD with RWMA and low ejection fractions, cardiomyopathy, valvular diseases (MS/AS), COPD,asthma, chronic liver disease and chronic kidney disease after careful optimisation
- we give anaesthesia for arthroscopic repairs of knee and shoulder GA with regional anaesthesia and ultra sound guided blocks like interscalene and adductor canal (dual subsartorial block) for postoperative analgesia
- all trauma with fractures GA with appropriate ultrasound guided upper and lowerlimb blocks (supraclavicular, interscalene,axillary,radial and ulnar, femoral, popliteal,sciatic nerve blocks)for post operative analgesia
- anaesthesia for oncosurgeries involving laprotomies ,bowel resection and anastomosis are given thorasic epidural with GA, thyroidectomy and other difficult airways awake fiberoptic and video laryngoscopes are used
- anaesthesia for ENT surgeries like adenotonsillectomy(peadiatric patients), septoplasty,FESS,tympanoplsaty
- total intravenous anaesthesia for ENT surgeries like FESS and septolasty or when ever required
- surgeries with neuromonitoring, anaesthesia is given without muscle relaxants using remifentanil and propofol infusion
- anaesthesia for all laproscopic surgeries involving general surgery, gynecology,oncology
- anaesthesia for sick laprotomies for patients with perforation (patient in sepsis) or blund injury abdomen with bleeding and shock
- anaesthesia for all obstetric emergencies like foetal distress, post partum haemorrage,placenta previa,acreta /percreta which may undergo massive transfusion and postoperative ICU and ventillation
- labour analgesia given for indicated patients on a daily basis
- difficult spinals and epidurals are done under ultrasound guided marking
- we use whitacre spinal needles for all spinal anaesthesia to avoid PDPH
- anaesthesia for neurosurgeries including tumor excisions, traumatic brain injuries,spine surgeries are given( prone position)
- all invasive lines like arterial line central lines are put using ultrasound guidence
