Golden tickets

As I began my journey with DIS, I was intrigued to observe its efforts to reward students. Given this was something new to me, I worked extremely hard to get golden tickets and participated in a variety of activities to do so. I received nine golden tickets in year ten and seven in year eleven. Although I did not get any platinum tickets, I hope to do so someday, and I am grateful to DIS for offering this excellent technique to boost a student's motivation and education.

Equestrian Competition

I have been practicing riding a horse for about three years. After a lot of practice, I was offered the opportunity to join the equestrian club. I won second and was quite pleased with myself. It truly was a very enjoyable experience trotting and jumping with my horse. The height of the jump was fairly low since it was my first time ,but as I advanced,the height gradually increases. I hope to receive another opportunity like this one

Certificates of Appreciation

After finishing my GCSEs, I was delighted to be praised by my teachers for my hard work and dedication. Their sincere appreciation and recognition were very rewarding, reflecting the significant effort I put in over two years for my GCSE studies, making the certificates all the more worthwhile.

Painting

Painting is a highly satisfying leisure activity for me, providing a significant opportunity for creative expression and meditation. I experiment with color, form, and technique on canvas to explore themes ranging from natural landscapes to abstract concepts. It is a procedure that requires great attention to detail and a keen sense of visual composition. Finally, painting offers a turning arena for aesthetic study, helping me to develop an intricate grasp of creative ideas and my own artistic identity. I enjoy painting cartoon figures and creating gifts for my friends. Seeing their excitement at receiving a present crafted specifically for them makes me thrilled.

Basketball

I've loved playing sports with my family and friends since I was a child. During my previous school, I was an active part of the basketball team and spent many after-school hours honing my talents. Basketball has always given me a sense of connection and unity, and I enjoy the sport's collaborative aspect. Furthermore, the intense attention and strategic thinking required in basketball have consistently challenged and intrigued me, making it a very rewarding and enjoyable activity. I have participated in matches at school and during PE lessons, and it's one of my favorite activities to play with friends.

Horse Riding

Horseback riding is my favorite sport. I have been taking horseback riding lessons for approximately three years and thoroughly like them. The feeling of excitement while cantering with the horse is inexplicable. Although I initially fell off the horse and was afraid to ride again, I was able to gather my courage and compete in an equestrian competition. I learned to be vigilant, competitive, patient, persistent, and responsible.
