Reporting to Director of Operation/General Manager

• Responsible to manage all aspects of maintenance staff on daily basis
• Directs, coordinates and performs routine, preventive and emergency interior / exterior maintenance and repairs to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of hotel operations
• Works with property and regional engineering leadership team to determine how Engineering is performing against budget and highlights areas of concern to leadership
• Manages physical plant including equipment, refrigeration, HVAC, plumbing, water treatment and electrical systems in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures
• Administers service contracts to support property needs
• Ensures fire crew has complete understanding of all procedures, equipment and alarms
• Coaches and supports engineering leadership team to effectively Manage controllable expenses
• Manages and controls heat, light and power
• Develops engineering operating strategy that is aligned with property/brand's business strategy
• Developing training for a team involves a structured approach to ensure the training meets organizational goals, addresses the team's needs, and leads to measurable improvement
• Creating a CAPEX (Capital Expenditure) Plan and a Yearly Budget requires strategic planning, detailed forecasting, and alignment with organizational goals
• Ensures integration of departmental goals in game plans
• Oversees execution of long-term preventative maintenance and 05 year asset protection plans
• Reviews monthly financial P&L reports and statements to determine how Engineering is performing against budget

Reporting to General Manager

• Responsible to manage all aspects of maintenance staff on daily basis
• Directs, coordinates and performs routine, preventive and emergency interior / exterior maintenance and repairs to obtain optimum efficiency and economy of hotel operations
• Directs Engineering staff, accounting/budgeting, asset protection, inventory control and human resources
• Familiar and complies with hotels mission and standards in performing maintenance activities
• Maximize maintenance team potential with balanced focus on operations, guests, employee and owners' satisfaction
• Represents engineering department during daily HOD morning meetings
• Priorities, plan, schedule assign and supervise engineering department staff
• Oversee maintenance tasks, work orders and special projects ensuring timely and accurate completion
• Respond to guest's maintenance needs promptly and ensure guests receive professional, efficient prompt and courteous service to hotel standards
• Maintain physical appearance and operational efficiency of hotel including physical Mechanical, electrical, plumbing etc
• Installation & maintenance of all equipment related to HVAC, DG Sets, Water treatment, Fire Safety etc
• Review Monthly P&L statement
• Ensure proper records are kept relating to all plant and equipment for hotel including repair and service records
• Prepare reports as required by Housekeeping Manager and General Manager
• Ensure that stores have adequate stocks of materials, equipment and tools and are kept in clean and safe environment
• Take responsibility for cleanliness and safety aspects of all plant and mechanical equipment rooms

• Develop, implement, and direct all emergency programs
• Develop, implement and manage energy conservation programs for property to minimize expenses
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers for AMC and any outstanding issues
• Ensure maintenance staff is wearing proper uniforms with name tag and upholds hotels grooming and hygiene standards
• Responsible for quality service, meeting/exceeding financial goals, short- and long-term planning and day-to-day operations

Reporting to Director Of Engineer

• Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to following Monitor and maintain all of hotel's mechanical systems
• Lead and support diverse team in operation and maintenance of hotel on day-to-day basis, including, general maintenance, HVAC, Kitchen maintenance, Carpentry, Electrical and Plumbing
• Train, coach and develop existing engineering staff including all provincially certified tradesmen, fourth class engineers recruiting, interview and hire new employees and monitor them during probationary period to assess their continued fitness and suitability for roles, determine qualifications to continue Employment
• Conduct performance reviews, daily assessment of performance of all Engineering colleagues, delivering coaching and progressive discipline where required
• Schedule as per collective agreement and according to business levels
• Attend grievance meetings with Union, settling grievances where appropriate
• Liaise with all Departments to ensure execution of planned scheduled and programs, including preventative maintenance and repair scheduled for public and private areas
• Manage and contribute to extensive Preventative Maintenance Program for guestrooms, public areas and safety systems to facilitate building that remains in 'pristine' condition
• Critique, summarize, and forecast monthly departmental financial performance
• Ensure effective utilization and productivity of all employees including staff planning, recruiting and training and development, 'stepping out of box' where possible
• Available on 'on-call' basis during off hours for emergency situations
• Key responsibility to maintain premises as per guidelines as per Health & safety local authorities
• Full knowledge of local code requirements and relations
• Acting Director of Engineering & handled entire engineering operation independently on absence of Director Of Engineering for period of 14 months

Reporting to Cluster Director of Engineer/Hotel Manager.

• Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to following: Daily Morning Briefings with Hotel Manager
• Guest rooms Deep Snagging for Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Civil & Carpentry
• Coordinating & monitoring closely with all MEP Contractors on day-to-day activities
• Having Daily Meetings with all Contractors on work progress updates
• Coordinating & assessing with 3rd party company Inspectors for Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire alarm & Fire Fighting system & Central battery etc
• Preparing & monitoring all Pending list and following on daily basis
• Pre-Opening Team on Taskforce

Reporting to Chief Engineer

• Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to following: Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly service

• Monitor and analyses energy consumption

Reporting to Chief Engineer

• Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to following Plans, directs, assigns, and Through support staff, maintenance and repair of hotel facilities including kitchen equipment's, recreation/health club equipment's, engineering machineries, fire panel system, cooling system, heating system and all electronic appliances provided in guest rooms
• Determines planned maintenance and repair programs (preventive maintenance program)
• Follow up on preventive maintenance schedule for kitchen equipment's, machinery and guest rooms
• Supervises preparation of environmental impact documentation and process of all jurisdictional permits and agreements necessary to support all on-going programs
• Directs formulation of facility design and minor project construction
• Supervises implementation of projects and assist in preparation of Hotel Engineering budget
• Controls expenditure- Prior to procurement of any new equipment, alternate uses for existing stock are investigated for scope either to upgrade it or re-use it in another purpose
• Ensures maintenance is followed-up
• Ensure daily Utility readings to be taken and Compare on the Each shift
• Handles guest complaints and strives for early guest recovery
• Ensures that time in and out sheets of staff are filled in properly in accordance with numbers of hours worked
• Ensures smooth delivery of guest request
• Ensures that master keys issuance is recorded and turned in during end of shift
• Follow up with Front Office & Housekeeping for Room allocation to carry out the PPM
• Performs other duties assigned by Rooms Division Manager/Operation Manager
• Follow and maintain standards and guidelines recommended by SOP and ISO Hotel Operations and Job Safety Analysis

Reporting to Supervisor

• Responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to following: Perform scheduled PM Program for guest other areas under R&M Department
• Perform all type of A/C & Refrigeration work, which include repair and maintenance work in guest rooms and other related areas of hotel such as, inspect, repair and maintain of all A/C & Refrigeration Works
• To carry out Repair & Maintenance of all equipment and machinery related to section
• Maintain and repair all A/C & Refrigeration work in guest rooms and all related areas in accordance with preventive maintenance procedures and standard guidelines
• Perform all repair work and all corrective maintenance work, reported by maintenance order/Royal service orders/or emergency R&M work by cordless phone/Two-way radio/Mobile phone etc
• Work very closely with other engineering colleagues and meet entire job requirement
• Follow all job instructions given by Shift Engineer or other Senior Staffs
• Follow weekly/monthly duty schedule/split duty schedule and to carry out any other engineering work/assignment and to perform duty as Task force and may be transferred to other group Hotels as Business demand
• Report any serious maintenance problem or safety related issues to Shift Engineer/Shift Supervisor immediately
• To be available in Hotel/Colleagues Housing immediately for any emergencies such as Fire and others and act in professional manner to protect Guests, Staffs and preserve Hotel Property and its system
• Follow Hotel Crises plan
• Follow up Company and department safety and security policies and procedures to ensure clean, safe, and secure environment
• Attend all departmental trainings and other training program
• Report works related accidents, or other injuries immediately upon occurrence to Shift Engineer/Shift Supervisor
• Use proper equipment, wear appropriate personal protective equipment and use correct lifting procedures as necessary to avoid injury
• Follow hazardous Material management program procedures for handling and disposing of chemicals etc
• Using material safety data sheets
• Identify and correct unsafe work procedures or conditions and/or report them to Shift Engineer
• Follow policies and procedures for safe operation and storage of tools, equipment, and machines
• Complete appropriate Fire and safety trainings and certifications to perform work tasks
• Ensure uniform, name tags and personal appearance are clean, hygienic, professional and compliance with hotel policies and procedures
• Guest Relations: Address guests service needs in professional, positive and timely manner
• Welcome and acknowledge each and every guest with smile, eye contact, and friendly verbal greeting, using guest's name if possible
• Quality Assurance: Comply with quality assurance expectations and standards
• Develop and maintain positive and productive working relations with other employees and departments
• Any job-related complaints or grievances to be handled promptly with Shift Engineer or Chief Engineer
