ALYAN SAEED AL HAJERI

Abu Dhabi

Summary

With 18 years of dedicated experience in petroleum engineering, field operations, rig and rigless operations, well intervention, field development, monitoring, and artificial lift, I have built a robust career in the oil and gas industry.

Starting as a petroleum engineer in the Upper Zakum field, I contributed to numerous field development and expansion projects, focusing particularly on artificial islands and well designs. My expertise in artificial lift, honed through specialized training at ExxonMobil in the USA, allowed me to make significant contributions to the Upper Zakum artificial islands development, as I transitioned to the field development and planning team. This role provided me extensive exposure to both surface and subsurface aspects of field development.

In leadership capacities, I have successfully guided the petroleum engineering team within Upper Zakum field development, achieving the initial oil production from South Island and meeting stretch KPI production targets. My leadership extended to ADNOC Offshore where, as the laboratories team leader, I spearheaded the consolidation of all ADNOC laboratories into a single facility (ADNCLL) and standardized testing procedures and practices.

Currently, as the Inactive Strings Team Leader in the Lower Zakum Field Development team, I have efficiently managed to reduce the inactive strings count from 130 strings by 50%. My expertise has been instrumental in achieving stretch targets over the past two years. Additionally, I have successfully and safely managed 50% of ADNOC Offshore rig-less resources/barges, supporting the achievement of FSPOR, RMP, and POP/POI KPIs.

I am now seeking a suitable position in Production Engineering where I can continue to add significant value, ensuring the highest HSE standards, meeting production targets with optimum resources, and contributing to the development of a competent national workforce.
