• Performs variety of tests (chemistry, hematology, serology, basic routine microbiology, microscopy, Molecular biology).
• Performs tasks and duties in the laboratory assigned areas according to established laboratory SOPs.
• Follow the laboratory's procedures for test analyses, reporting, and maintaining records of patient test results.
• Adhere to the laboratory's quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument, and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed.
• Follow the laboratory-established corrective action policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance.
• Based on training and protocol recognize, document, and communicate unusual and/or critical result values. Perform proficiency testing (CAP).
• Maintain sufficient inventory of material supplies and equipment for the performance of duties.
• Participate in continuing education.
• Ensure a safe working environment for infection control and prevention.
