Andrea Genovese

Part of pre opening team of Sushisamba Dubai, i started my journey as a Runner and in a quick steps, after mastered a succesfull knowledge of Japanese, Peruvian and Brasilian cuisine i jumped in a waiter position and achieved high standards of service showing all my passion for the role.

Thanks to my desire to learn and push myself higher, after working hard, making progress every day i was awarded with the role of Senior Head Waiter.

From the beginning i started to have a double role, delivering exceptional customer service while managing different responsibilities concurrently, i got the duties as a Team Leader.

Demonstrated leadership by ensuring exceptional service standards, managed customer issues and coordinated team responsibilities to meet service goals and deliver consistent results.

Processed financial transactions, monitored closing duties and reconciled tips with breakage reports

Thanks to my hard work i was awarded from the management who gave me the chance to train the new joiners with the opportunities to build team knowledge and abilities.

The role as a Waiter in England was my first experience abroad, givign me all the effort to improve my fluency in english and to socialize with the new world around me.

With this experience in an Italian Fine Dining Restaurant i mastered the procedure of high standards and guests satisfaction, realizing my big desire to push myself higher.
