· Supervise maintenance Colleagues and contract Colleagues who are carrying out minor building work, electrical and mechanical installations
· Supervise and liaise with all contractors, write specifications for all electrical, mechanical and associated building works complying with the local government regulations and inspect and sign for contractor works upon satisfactory completion
· Oversee the general maintenance of all life safety systems throughout the Hotel and report any major defects
· Ensure that all administration files are kept up to date including drawing prints, specifications, equipment, technical maintenance manuals, etc.
· Recommend and evaluate energy conservation programs and ensure they are carried out as well as investigate the wastage.
· Actively participates in all EHS related meetings and acts as an EHS Committee member.
· Identify and provide required resources in developing and maintaining the EHS system.
· Collect and review relevant EHS data and take action on the outcomes of EHS audits on a regular basis.
· Make sure to fully investigate all incidents reported and to fully implement the preventive measures.
· Ensure effective emergency procedures are in place and practiced regularly.
· Ensure all EHS responsibilities are clearly defined and allocated in position descriptions or duty statements (job descriptions).
· Formulate and implement specific EHS rules for activities conducted within areas under their control, coordinating with other departments or contractors.
· Report to the EHS in charge, concerned department, or Dir of Engineer if required in case any colleague or contractors breach EHS rules and procedures within their scope of work.
· Report and document all incidents acquired within their scope of work, actively participate and cooperate with the incident investigation process and take appropriate action as per the investigation recommendation.
· Ensure all colleagues in the department are adequately trained (on job / off job) on EHS on regular basis.

· Adhere with the EHS legislation and EHSMS policies, procedures and EHSMS Manual relevant to their scope of work.
· Conduct and document risk assessment for all procedures and activities with consultation and involvement of departmental colleagues and others, followed by implementation of recommended control measures. Accordingly, Health and safety hazard assessment form and Environmental aspect assessment form are prepared.
· Maintain the entire Hotel facility, including the physical building structure, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and other related equipment in accordance with energy conservation and preventative maintenance programs.
· Ensure the upkeep of Guest areas to maintain an attractive Hotel
· Conduct house tours and visually assess the safe and efficient maintenance and operation of the physical structures of the Hotel, all mechanical, electrical, HVAC systems, and any other related equipment.
· Verify completion of all routine maintenance on public spaces and verify completion of all repairs, replacement and renovation projects to offices and Colleague work areas.
· Maintain effective energy management and preventive maintenance programs and conduct special training for other operating departments on the safe and efficient use of equipment and energy in the Hotel.
· Control utilities cost by implementing various techniques and maintain cost as budgeted.
· Conduct third party inspections for hotel equipment’s as per the legal requirement of the country
· Supervise and control the preventive maintenance of the BMS System & Control panel.
· Provide the maintenance supervisor with planned preventive maintenance.
· (PPM) schedules for implementation and handles the follow-up on the same.
· Analyze the behavior of the plants with respect to the set point and set up the various control parameters.
· Perform daily auditing of plant performance by utilizing the facilities built on the building management system (BMS) e.g., data logging, plant review, alarm manager status, etc.
· Analyze reasons for the failure of plants and provides specific diagnostic, and problem analysis, and specify the necessary remedial actions for Supervisor’s approval.
· Use the historical logged data of various plants to review the system and propose improvements in order to enhance the system efficiency and/or reduce the operation cost as well as improve the services provided to customers.
· Program the BMS and PPM system and other plants (e.g., standby power generator, diesel- driven firefighting pump, fire alarm system, etc.) for automatic periodic testing.
· Maintain all M&E, HVAC & A/V equipment within the hotel complex with special emphasis on health and safety.
· Supervision of all work and Operations in the absence of the Engineer / Duty Engineer
· Doing Preventive maintenance for all HVAC system as per the schedule
· Carried out the chiller and pumps maintenance.
· Doing guest rooms FCU and AHU maintenance
· Doing Heat exchanger service and maintenance
· Attending guest room AC request
· Doing public area AC maintenance
· Analyze reasons for the failure of plants and provides specific diagnostic, and problem analysis, and specify the necessary remedial actions for Supervisor’s approval.
