• Interim Valuations: Prepare and review interim valuations, ensuring that work completed is accurately reflected in progress payments to contractors and subcontractors.
• Review and assess the impact of variations in the project scope or design, including cost and time implications.

· Quantity Take Off of the Project based on Tender, IFC and Shop drawings.

· Preparation and Submission of Interim Payment Applications monthly with the value of the work completed up to a specific point in time, in line with the contract terms.

· Preparation and Submission of Project Variations - For the change in quantity, size, specification.

· Review and assess the impact of variations in the project scope or design, including cost and time implications. Derivation of new unit rates, rate analysis and submit the cost impact associated.

· Prepare and issue interim certificates for payment to the contractor, ensuring they reflect the work done and any agreed variations.

· Attend regular site meetings with Contractor/Client to avoid disputes in payment evaluations, variation assessment and Variation Order.

· Ensure that all documents related to costs, valuations, payments, and variations are correctly stored and easily accessible for future reference or audits.

· Preparation and Submission of Shipment Invoices as per packing list and container VGM & ED.

· Prepare and negotiate the final account at the end of the project, ensuring that all costs are accounted for, including any variations or changes.

• Regularly track and compare actual costs to the budgeted costs to ensure the project stays within financial limits.
• Regularly assess the progress of construction work, preparing interim valuations based on the work completed. These valuations determine how much the contractor should be paid at different project milestones.
• As the project progresses, changes may occur (e.g., scope changes, design modifications, or unforeseen issues). The post-contract QS is responsible for assessing these variations, ensuring they are documented and agreed upon by both parties, and ensuring that the cost implications are properly managed and reflected in the budget.
• Review all payments made throughout the project and ensure that the final account is accurate, ensuring there are no outstanding amounts or discrepancies.
