- Responsible for Accounting, closing, reporting and preparation of Financial Statements as per IFRS;

- Audit coordination for UAE and Cluster countries- external audit, limited review audits, ICV certifications and IAS 19 pension valuations

- Work along with CFO to ensure internal controls compliance for UAE and Cluster countries- Implementation of Entity level controls and ongoing process level controls

- Reiwa implementation- Design, data cleansing, training, User Acceptance Testing, Data validation, Go-live, post go-live stability

- Ensuring compliance to FARM (Financial and accounting reporting Manual) of Hitachi Energy and IFRS - specially IFRS 15 (Revenue), 16 (leases), 19 (Pensions), 21 (foreign exchange), 9 (financial assets/ liabilities)

- Perform quarterly balance sheet reviews and reconciliations of major account balances

- Provide time to time guidance to other team members on IFRS, Balance sheet reviews and other topics

Major client handled- ABB Industries- UAE, Qatar & Oman

Key Responsibilities-

- Planning and Execution of Audit- Statutory audit and Internal Controls audit as per US GAAP and SOX respectively

- Technical Expertise on updates in auditing and accounting standards, evolving country specific regulations

- Project management- complete risk formalities, time and cost budgeting, analysis on actuals vs budgets, resource allocation

- Team leadership
