Responsibilities:

• MRD (Medical Record Department) Management
• All MRD document checking & completion as per hospital checklist.
• Check & Maintain all types of registers like MRD register, critical value register & incident form & MRD Accessor form completion etc.
• OPD Patient Care
• Initial assessment, initial medical examination, patient information filling in different forms as per hospital norms.
• IPD Management
• Overall IPD management of indoor patients i.e. taking patient rounds, monitoring vitals as per attending doctor’s instruction.
• Noting any crucial findings during rounds and communicating it to the concerned doctor.
• Discharge card & indoor note completion and indoor treatment sheet completion as advised by treating doctor.
• Training & Policy Awareness
• Conducted trainings to staff on various awareness topics related to NABH, hospital policies and patient care.
• Insurance & TPA Work
• Insurance claim registration, initiation of cashless facilities of tie-up insurance companies, TPAs, and corporate companies.
• For patients without insurance policy or with reimbursement facility, provided proper forward path guidance & documents for smooth reimbursement process.
• Patient & Consultant Communication
• Maintained end-to-end communication with consultant doctors and patients coming for minor procedures and OPD-based surgical procedures.
• Health Records
• Electronic data preservation of health records of indoor and outdoor patients.
