- Plan and conduct internal and external audits, inspections, and investigations by leveraging a wide range of audit techniques to identify risks and potential issues to support their timely and accurate resolution.

- Support the development of a Safety Management System (SMS) to provide necessary expertise on own area of responsibility.

- Conduct investigations on maintenance-related incidents, accidents, and process errors and evaluate the causal factors to ensure accurate tracking in case of an audit.

- Produce comprehensive reports on accidents, incidents, and process errors to prevent a recurrence.

- Provide training to and support staff development to ensure awareness of maintenance procedures that meet regulatory and company requirements.

Produce quality and Safety manuals for the organization and supervise the synergy, acceptance, and adequacy of this regulatory body's approved manuals and the associated procedures

• Monitors the effectiveness of policies and procedures and the degree of compliance of supervisors and subordinates
• Implements an independent quality system and manages procedures and products' audit program
• Follow up, coordinate, and controls the progress of remedial actions
• Develops and manages supplier and vendors assessment program
• Work with the tactical purchasing section to monitor the supplier’s key performance indicators and ensure that supplier performance is regularly reported and appropriate and timely corrective action is implemented
• Makes a regular audit and surveillance to assure subcontracting and purchasing are limited to the organization's procedures acceptable to National Authority, EASA, FAA and includes but not limited to processing, inspecting testing, or calibration
• Maintains and\or consolidates a risk register database (for all safety-critical operations) and facilitates the assessment of operational risks based on the recommended action in areas where improvements are required
• Report regularly on the status and adequacy of operations risk management in each safety-critical area to higher management
• Coordinates and liaison between the organization's services and the regulatory body
• Initiates actions to prevent the occurrence of any non-conformities relating to product quality and verify the implementation of the solution
• Led the investigation team representing the organization regarding any significant accident/incident
• Issues\renews\withdraws the certifying staff and support staff authorization possible delegation, including management of these files
• Develops and maintains MRO SMS documentation and implementation in line with regulatory requirements
• Ensures Emergency plan exercises are done periodically per the SMS requirement
• Establishes and direct safety, hazard reporting, identifications, analysis, and safety risk management programs to set a sound safety goal
• Maintain the safety management database in Q-pulse for future statistical use
• Provide timely safety advice and assistance to staff at all levels
• Promote safety awareness and positive safety culture.

Initiate, recommend, and implement policies/procedures/changes and corrective actions

• Prepare Annual Audit Program and revise as required
• Implements a quality audit program in which compliance with all the company maintenance procedures are respected concerning each type of aircraft, engine, and component
• Supervise auditing functions on technical problems encountered in maintenance service activities
• Follows up and performs a regular audit of all the company Services activities and facilities to ensure that policies and working procedures are followed and proper housekeeping is to the required standards
• Timely follow-up and closure of non-conformances per the audit findings
• Involve/assist in preparing MPM, MOE, QCM & RSM, and other necessary quality manuals for the organization with their associated procedures per the local authority, EASA, and FAA regulatory requirements
• Evaluate, train and coach the Auditors under his/her supervision
• Reports regularly on the status and adequacy of the Audit Program to the Manager
• Evaluate the use and necessity of reports, records, and forms in the light of financial savings and quality product assurance
• Controls outsourced activities as required if any.

• Conducts audit as per the schedule set by the team leader
• Submits statistical summary of safety and quality audits completed monthly basis
• Request corrective action when non-compliant findings are cited
• Conducts follow-up audit on audit findings after the corrective action has been implemented and maintains audit records in a file
• Maintains continual audit of Ethiopian MRO division policies and procedures to assure conformity with ICAO, IATA, FAA, EASA and ET Civil Aviation Authority regulations
• Develop better methods of auditing procedures and reporting systems for the audit section
• Maintain historical records of each audited section
• Involve in the development of necessary exposition manuals and other relevant documents
• Periodically reviews and improves the Auditing Programs to be adaptable to ETHIOPIAN operation and satisfy regulatory agencies
• Develops and recommends new work procedures, resulting in greater efficiency and effectiveness in correcting audit findings
• Involves and plays a vital role by being one of an investigation team of incidents/accidents
• Coordinate and advise all concerned regulatory agencies on relevant changes such as policy and procedure revision and
• Organizational structural changes.

• Performed overhaul, assembly/disassembly, repair and modification and test of Structural part of aircraft
• After evaluation per the SRM, repair or manufacture Aircraft tubes, hoses, and control cables as necessary
• Read and interpret maintenance manuals, engineering drawings, blueprints, schematic diagrams, and other technical data to determine the feasibility and method while performing structural tasks
• Repaired and manufactured composite parts of aircraft
• Replaced and repaired damaged or worn out aircraft structural parts, performed major structural alterations as per approved maintenance documents (SRM, CMM, AMM, IPC etc.)
