Responsibilities:

· Supervised contractor work processes of General Electrical inspection Installation Testing and Commissioning and other electrical activities and co-ordination of Civil, MEP, HVAC and FPS works and adherence to project schedule.

· Overall Project Co-ordination and Site Supervision and witnessing of Installation and Testing & Commissioning activities of 40MVA 132/11kv SS and 80MVA 132/33kv SS, and involved in Installation and testing of 33kv SWG activities and related protection works with Dubai RTA.

· Responsible for Conduct site visits to ensure that quality procedures are being followed and ensure the jobs are executed by contractors according to applicable Codes, standards, approved drawing and technical specifications

· Witnessing of Testing and Commissioning activities of Site acceptance test as per approved Standard specification and as per Client requirements.

· Responsible for Overall Site supervision of Electrical / MEP activities inspection, coordination with Engineering dept for drawing approvals follow ups etc.

· Reviewing the Contractor Technical Submittals / Method Statement, Testing procedure and Testing and Commissioning Schedule etc.

· Monitoring and Controlling the Project Daily / Weekly and program as Scheduled.

· Requesting and arranging DEWA witness as per the Weekly program Scheduled.

· Attending the Weekly Progress/ Site Co-ordination Meeting with Contractor& Client to discuss the progress and site related issues and Prepare the MOMs.

· Issuing the Site Note/ NCR for related to discrepancy item and against to Contract Specification.

· Review the Project Progress in timely manner to ensure to meet the project milestones.

· Tracking and Maintaining the Site records and updating to client on weekly basis (Sat report, Fat report RFC / As build drawing & O& M manual and Snag work).

· To maintain a proper Co-ordination with Contractor and Client for an effective Supervision of all the Parallel activities of Installation and Testing and Commissioning activities.

· Coordination with Engineering department for Modification and other related issues.

· Coordination with site/project management for expediting different erection works to facilitate important testing activities.

· Performing inspection of Electrical activities Installation of Major Equipment Control panels, DC system, Cable tray, Power and Control cable laying and Termination etc.

• Testing of Numeric, Static and Electromagnetic relays. Siemens/Areva Make Relays Numerical O/C &E/F Relays, 7SJ6** Series, Differential relays7UT6**Series, Bay Control Unit 7SJ6** Series and 7SS60(BB Protection relay), 7SD**Cable differential, P141SZ, P543 Line differential etc.

• Testing & Commissioning of Power Transformers up to 500MVA, 400/132/33kv, Vacuum / SF6 Circuit breakers, Current Transformers, Voltage Transformers and Distribution Transformers etc.

• Monitoring the Weekly and Daily Progress as per program as Scheduled. • Requesting and arranging DEWA witness as per the Weekly program Scheduled.

• Attending the Weekly Progress Review Meeting with Contractor& Client to discuss the progress and site related issues and Prepare the MOMs.

• Issuing the Site Note for related to discrepancy item and against to Contract Specification.

• Review of weekly Percentage of Progress as per actual and update the Site note Status, As build drawing & O& M manual Status to Client.
