1. Management of the Laboratory, in which various types of Clinical Pathology tests are Performed.

2. Preparation for College of American pathologists (CAP) Accreditation.

3. Participation in Intradepartmental and hospital Education Programs.

4. Assessment and training of the Technical staff.

5. Control of the daily, weekly and monthly Internal and External QC program.

6. Validation of the laboratory results.

7. Discussion of abnormal laboratories results with the treating physician.

1. Management of a of the largest Hospital laboratory in Sharjah performing various branches of Clinical Pathology tests.

2. Preparation for CAP (College of American Pathologists) Accreditation.

3. Validation of Laboratory results.

4. Interpretation of difficult or unusual laboratory results with treating doctors.

5. Training and Assessment of the technical staff.

6. Assessment and Introduction of New laboratory Technologies as required.

7. Training and Assessment of the technical staff.

Duties involve:

Duties involve management of Salus Referral laboratory (Clinical Pathology General laboratory), Management of the Accreditation Program for the Laboratory leading into ISO 15189 as well as CAP (College of American Pathologists) Accreditation. Cryo Save Arabia (for cord blood reservation and storage) management, and management of the Accreditation of the American association for Blood Banking (AABB).

Clinical Pathologist in charge of the Clinical Laboratories of the MOH preventive Medicine , Duties involves:

Managing the laboratory of the Preventive Medicine Department. The Laboratory supplies services to all sections of the Preventive Medicine including Medical Certificate for Immigration, Primary Health Care, Mother and Child Health, Immunization, and Pre- marital Examination, and Strategic Planning and development of the laboratories.
