Responsibilities

• Creating and overseeing Proposals – detailed, costed, persuasive proposal
• Identifying opportunities on which to submit bids and feeding into the decision over whether to bid for the work (Go/No-Go & Bid/No-Bid process)
• Devising a successful strategy for winning bids, including pinpointing the unique selling points (key differentiators) of the organization and understanding the clients’ specific requirements
• Assessing and addressing the technical and commercial risks relating to the bid
• Engineering & Design for MV motors & drives
• Plan the implementation/execution of Large Drives projects of values (~€5.0 M).

Responsibilities

• Engineering & Design for all Drive system retrofit projects.
• Provide all aspects of technical support to customers, including the preparation of BOQ and the technical proposals (Spare parts, Repair, Retrofit & Replacement).
• Plan the implementation/execution of small Automation & Drives projects of values (~€1.0 M).
• A key player in Motors & VFDs Retrofit & Replacement business, including the selections, quotations, technical specifications, commercial/delivery terms, and follow-up.
• A key player in Retrofit & Replacement projects of values (~ 1’0 Mio EUR) covering the entire project lifetime from the bid/no-bid phase to the final acceptance by the customer.
• Lower Gulf Customer Service Culture Coordinator; actively drives Service Culture-initiative in RC customer service on behalf of I CS Executive Management.
• Customer management and internal high-level solution architect coordination to complete the proposed solutions' detailed design, dimensioning, and integration plan.
• Maintaining a solid relationship with various customers such as GASCO, GPIC, BAPCO, QAPCO, Qatar Shell, Qatar Aluminum, Qatar National Cement & Total Yemen.
• Maintain a high level of coordination with different functional teams and all levels in the organization (Regional level, cluster level, headquarters) to resolve customer issues (technical, commercial, and deliveries) and fulfill sales and order commitments to the best of customer’s satisfaction.

• Oman LNG (Sur – Oman): Upgrade & Migration of existing obsolete 2Nos MV Simovert S CSI drives, including overhauling of 4Nos

• Oman LNG (Sur – Oman): Upgrade & Migration of existing obsolete 2Nos MV Simovert S CSI drives, including overhauling of 4Nos. MV Siemens motors for train 1, 2 & 3.
• Gulf Cement Factory (Ras Al Khaima – U.A.E): Replacement of Kiln DC motor with a MV Squirrel-Cage motor and a Perfect Harmony Air-cooled Variable Frequency Drive (6.6KV / 890KW)
• Q-Chem (Mesaieed - Qatar): Design, supply, and commissioning of 2Nos Sinamics GM150 drives.
• QAFCO (Mesaieed – Qatar): 5 Turbines conversion to 5Nos. asynchronous motors and Perfect Harmony Frequency Drives (Bidding).
• GPS ChemOil (Fujairah – UAE): Design, Supply, and Commissioning of 4Nos. Perfect Harmony Frequency Drives for Direct online Ex de 6.6KV motors.
• DP World (Dubai – U.A.E): Retrofit of 16 Nos. RTG Cranes.

Project: HGCE (Habshan GASCO Complex Expansion) contractor FLOUR Mideast ltd. And Client GASCO

Responsibilities

• Implementation of the Electrical, Control and Instrumentation System (Transformer, Switchgear, UPS, LMLS, IPCS, Drives, Compressors, HVAC, F & G System, DCS System, ESD System, AMS, MMS, Public Address System, Telephone System, Fiber Optic Network, CCTV and the industrial process instrumentations) in the new and existing plant.
• Ensure that all electrical site activities are conducted under controlled conditions as per shop drawings, method statements, specifications, and work plans.
• Coordinate with other engineering disciplines (Mechanical & Civil).
• Evaluate the project construction to ensure compliance with standards for electrical systems.
• Receive/Action Request for Information (RFI) that applies to electrical and instrumentation works. RFI's requiring design feedback will be directed to the design for the response. Review the responses for adequacy.
• Redline and modify all the drawings and documents as built as per the modifications that have been done during the project.
• Assist the Project Manager in ensuring completion of the project per schedule within budget, following quality standards.
• Directly responsible for the safety of all electrical groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.
  
  

Project: Kattamya Cement Factory (client Italigroup)

Responsibilities

• Designing and commissioning the Industrial Automation System using SIEMENS tools PLC module (S7 200/300/400) and SCADA software (WinCC and WinCC flexible).
• Resolved issues and escalated problems with knowledgeable support and quality service.
• Proposed technical feasibility solutions for new system designs and suggested options for performance improvement of technical components.
