Yousef Alattar

I have completed my medical studies in the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland in 2011 during which I developed a passion for cardiology. Right away I got accepted for an internship post in medicine and surgery at SKMC-Abu dhabi. After completing my Internship I moved to Paris to complete a 4 years medical residency program in Cardiovascular medicine from Paris Diedrot University. I followed that by a 2 years Cardiovascular imaging fellowship program in The European Hospital George Pompidou in Paris in affiliation with Paris Descartes Univeristy under the supervision of Professor Elie Mousseaux during which I have done more than a 1000 Cardiac MRI and more than 600 Cardiac CT studies as a first reader. I came back to Abu dhabi and joined the cardiology team at SKMC as a consultant cardiologist. During this time I have developed the cardiovascular MRI and CT services at the hospital and introduced Stress CMR and 24/7 ER cardiac CT coverage. I have also helped standardizing the acquisition and reporting protocols for cardiovascular imaging. I have then joined the cardiology department at SSMC. Since I came back from France, I have been noticed by SEHA to be punctual, agile and effective and I have been chosen to lead several projects in the past two years. I worked as CMO of ADNEC field hospital during the first wave of Covid-19 pandemic and as the Director of all SEHA Field Hospitals and Dubai Parks vaccination center during the second wave of the pandemic. I was also nominated to join the Supreme Committee of Medical Liability and I am a member since March 2021.
