Summary

As an IBM Maximo EAM Functional Consultant Specialist, the primary responsibility is to provide expertise in the configuration, implementation, and maintenance of the IBM Maximo Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) system. This includes analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, and customizing the Maximo system to meet the specific needs of the organization.

In addition, I work closely with business users to understand their requirements and translate them into functional specifications for the Maximo system. I also provide training and support to end users to ensure ability to effectively use the system to manage assets, work orders, inventory, and other maintenance-related activities.

As a Lead Systems Control Specialist, also oversee the overall control and management of the Maximo system, including system security, data integrity, and performance monitoring. Collaborate with IT teams to ensure the system is properly integrated with other enterprise systems and that data flows seamlessly between different systems.

Overall, my role is to ensure that the Maximo EAM system is effectively meeting the organization's asset management needs and that it is continuously optimized to drive operational efficiency and cost savings.

  • Gather necessary information on type of equipment, quantity of materials, and machine months required for area projects. Compare this information with budget allocation for projects to identify any discrepancies or areas of concern. Regularly update forecast vs. budget requirements based on changes in project scope, cost estimates, and other relevant factors.
  • Maintain complete and accurate records for each PMV personnel in area, including direct and indirect staff. Monitor history and performance of each PMV personnel monthly, including their attendance, productivity, and any disciplinary issues. Communicate regularly with main personnel/human resources department to address any personnel matters, such as recruitment, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
  • Overseeing billing process for equipment used in area plant, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of invoices. Coordinating with plant personnel to gather necessary information for billing, such as equipment usage, rental agreements, and maintenance records. Reviewing all billing documentation to ensure consistency and compliance with company procedures and industry standards. Communicating with vendors and suppliers to resolve any discrepancies or issues with billing.
  • Ensuring all machinery and vehicles are registered and insured according to local regulations and requirements.
