Roles & Responsibilities

· Receiving patient to clinic.

· Checking of vital signs.

· Administration of medicines Intramuscular, Intravenous, Subcutaneous & Intradermal.

· Assisting in suturing, Ultra Sound Scanning, Cupping Therapy and Colonic Hydrotherapy

· Proper documentation of medical insurance forms.

· Sterilization of medical equipment using sterilizer.

· Specimen collection.

· Recording of ECG.

Petrofac Central Clinic Sharjah, UAE(Contract)

This is the clinic under Occupational Health & Medical Services Department (HSSEIA) of Petrofac International Ltd.

Roles & Responsibilities

Phlebotomist:

· To collect specimen for laboratory by using sterile techniques.

· Blood collection by venipuncture using vacutainer.

· Labeling the specimens.

· Centrifuge the collected serum samples.

· Filling out the Test Requisition Form as per the employee category.

· Proper storage of collected specimen.

Clinical Support

· Receiving patients to the clinic.

· Checking vital signs.

· Giving & receiving reports.

· Assisting the doctor during physical examination of female patients.

· Required documentation of medical reports.

· Recording ECG as per doctor’s instruction.

· Administering the vaccine.

· Administration of oral medication as per doctor’s orders.

· Dressing of wound

· Administration of First Aid in case of emergency.

This is a Multispecialty Hospital with 200 beds and the departments of Medicine, Surgery, Gynaecology & Obstetrics, Labour room, Paediatrics, Orthopaedics, Dentistry, E.N.T., Neonatal unit, I.C.U.,C.C.U, Radiology, Anaesthesiology, Casuality, Operation Theatre.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Admission & Discharge procedure.

· Care Plan development.

· Giving & receiving reports.

· Holistic Nursing care including Health Education, Incidental teaching

· Insertion of Ryle’s tube, Suctioning, Nebulization, Skin care, Bathing & Feeding.

· Blood Transfusion.

· Urinary Catheterisation, collection of sterile & unsterile specimen.

· Administration of Medicine- Oral, Intramuscular, Intravenous, Topical, Subcutaneous & Intradermal.

· Taking care of patients with Heart disease, Respiratory problems and Neurological problems.

Psychological support to patients and their families.

This is a multispecialty hospital with the following departments: General Medicine, Surgery, Paediatrics, Neuro, Ortho, ENT, Obstetrics & Gynaecology with Operation Theatre, Cardiology, Psychiatry, ICU(Medical, Surgical, Cardiology, Post Operative, Paediatric, Neonatal), Anaesthesia, X-Ray, Ultrasound Scan.

Roles & Responsibilities

· Receiving patient to Operation theatre

· Assisting in Anaesthesia procedures (General, Local, Regional)

· Administration of Medicines- oral, Intramuscular, Intravenous, Topical, Subcutaneous & Intradermal.

· Cardiac & vital signs monitoring.

· Provided care as a nurse in scrub duties, anesthesia duties, circulation nurse duties.

· Assisting in surgeries-Ortho, General, Dental, ENT, Obstetric & Gynaecology, Urology.

· Assisting in suturing, dressing, bandaging.

· Blood transfusion.

· Sterile techniques-surgical hand washing, gowning, glowing.

· Maintain sterile environment throughout the procedure.

· Daily inventory checking.

· Giving patient to Post operative Unit with emergency equipments

· Giving & receiving reports.

· Taking admission of critically ill patient.
