 General Roles & Responsibility:
• Supporting end user with solving any issues within Meditech Application. Analyze the issue, identify the problem, provide workaround if available, troubleshoot the issue; Fix the issue by prioritizing based on urgency and impact. Follow escalation process based on technical and/or functional issue. Document all Issues, Request and Project in Issue tracking tool.
• Co-ordinate with Clinical informatics team to assist in solving issues, help build dictionaries, build workflows, create testing notes, escalate issue to Vendor, testing changes and enhancements.
• Undertake request to develop reports from end users which includes data collection, build and test report, user testing and user acceptance signoff.
• Provide inputs to clinical, ancillary and financial team with application optimization and enhancement opportunity by reviewing current process.

    • Working with the end customer to resolve any issues related to Meditech application. Troubleshooting the issues includes taking calls and e-mail communication. All the issues are documented in the ITMS tool like Remedy. Preparing lesson learned documents for future references.
    • Sound Knowledge on Medical coding like ICD9, ICD10, CPT and DRG codes.
    • Worked with customers for creating users/deactivating users, modifying menu/access, creating new profiles based on roles, Meditech password reset and E-sign ability.
    • Provided 18/7 support on monthly rotational basis on majority of the Clinical, Administrative and Financial modules in Meditech. The support also included handling technical issues like Printer issues, Application server issues and Background Job servers.
    • Actively participated in Meditech downtime and Validation during System upgrades/Server patches and Optional patches.
    • Interacting with other team like Desktop, Network, Server and Integration team to troubleshoot and resolve major issues affecting the customers and patient care.
