Responsibilities

•Regularly inspect the site for adherence to safety standards as specified by Govt. authorities, ATS and site specific HSE Plan.

•Ensure that all workers have received the necessary HSE induction and safety trainings.

•Review and communicate to the workforce the risk assessments and method statements on all major and critical activities prior to carrying out on site.

•Ensure that the entire workforce are wearing the appropriate PPE at all times during the execution.

•Prepare and maintain site checklists and inspection forms

•Conduct regular toolbox talk to all operatives

•Conduct emergency preparedness drills at site as per the plan.

•Take part in investigation of accidents and near misses.

•Train all site staff/workers in safety and first aid guidelines

•Ensure that fire & safety regulations are adhered to, and every possible precaution is taken to enable quick action.

•Participate in management /client safety meetings when required

Responsibilities

Ensuring that HSE policies and procedures are understood
and implemented at company places of work.
• Provides the necessary advice to the construction team on Jobsite health and safety issues and Monitors compliance to
the Company HSMS
• Ensuring Method Statements & Risk Assessments have been
carried out for work activity.
• Attends various safety meetings to ensure effective
interchange of information on safety issues.
• Conduct Safety Meeting and Safety Induction to the
operatives for achieving Health and Safety at the workplace
• To inspect the workplace on-site regularly and randomly in
order to identify hazards and outstanding matters health and
safety and record results and prepare a report for submittal
and review with the HSE Manager.
• Assist client representatives during Audits and Inspections
• implementing company permit-to-work systems and
practices.
• Establish and implementation of company emergency
evacuation procedures
• Preparing weekly and monthly reports including the safety
statistic submitted to the management.
• Develop and implement a safe system of work on the task
area on site.
• Ensures using the correct tools and equipment for the task.
