• The position of Section Engineer - independent responsibility for the Mechanical Maintenance team under the Maintenance Manager for the 1550 mW CCPP & 95MIGD Desalination Units and Balance of Plant
• Was directly responsible for Preventive Maintenance Review, Planning & Execution, Corrective Maintenance, Spares forecast and procurement, Preparation for Daily & Outage Works, Budget forecast preparation, Evaluation of Service Contracts, Outage scope preparation and execution, Employee Training, ISO /OSHAS /EHSMS Compliance
• Contributed effectively for coordination with Engineering, Operation and Other Maintenance departments to achieve goal of reliable plant operation without compromising on Plant availability, quality and EHSMS
• Contribution to department includes Identifying and implementing on job training, Ingenious Outsourcing of Services, and procurement of spares to reduce cost and time, Plant modification proposals, Safety Awareness.
• Direct supervision of all major shut down jobs on Main Steam System .
• Spares Sufficiency and Manpower utilization, Optimization of breakdown maintenance.

• EPCM Contract of EGA , Phase 1,2000mW CCPP, Al Taweelah, Abu Dhabi
• The Power Plant consists of 6 x 250 MW GE Fr 9FA Gas Turbines, 4 x 730Tons/Hour Doosan HRSG and 2 x GE C7 Steam Turbine Generators (390 MW)
• Site supervision of the Erection of GT & HRSG Equipment & Piping and assisted in Steam Turbine Erection jobs in Coordination with GE team, on behalf of the EPCM reporting to the General Field Superintendent (Power Plant)
• HRSG Erection, GTG Equipment & Piping Inspection, Piping Hydro-testing, Walk downs , Punch List Clearance, QC documents review / verification .

Accomplishments: Turn around on GT erection activities, established effective team work with Contractor supervisors and QC inspectors .

Equipment used was fairly unfamiliar to client ,EPC and Contractor alike. Bottle necks were overcome with close coordination , honest & transparent dealing with OEM , Client & EPC . Commendable performance during commissioning & start up of Power units.
