• Headed the Credit & Risk team in UAE for the Corporate & Retail Business
• Assess, Evaluate and Sign-off on all business proposals put up by the Corporate & Retail Team in conjunction with the Head Office Credit Committee
• Assist the Corporate Team in sourcing new to bank customers and subsequently underwrite and structure credit proposals for the subject client
• Manage the facility requirements of existing corporate clients through interim and annual reviews
• Manage key Syndicated Transactions for the bank in liaison with Primary Lenders in the UAE
• Manage Credit Operations & documentation for UAE business
• Engaged in the underwriting of a comprehensive Risk Policy for the UAE business
• Involved in the development of the Corporate & Retail strategies for UAE business
• Oversee Compliance and all other Regulatory frameworks including FATCA & Etihad Credit Bureau implementation
• Manage Central Bank reporting & liaison
• Manage Retail & Corporate default accounts along with local legal firm

• Worked through the corporate structure of HSBC Corporate & Commercial Banking starting as a Credit Analyst culminating in the role as a Senior Relationship Manager and Team Leader heading a team comprising of 2 Relationship Managers, 1 Assistant Relationship Manager and 1 Business Specialist
• Handled an individual portfolio of 70 mid sized corporate clients with, Turnover Range of AED30 Million to AED200 Million, Asset Size of AED200 Million, Liability Size of AED150 Million and Annual Income Level of AED10 Million
• Total Team Portfolio of 150 mid sized corporate clients with, Turnover Range of AED10 Million to AED200 Million, Asset Size of AED350 Million, Liability Size of AED250 Million and Annual Income Level of AED20 Million
