I decided to join National Aviation Services, Kuwait, as a Global Chief Operations Officer for more than one year. Key Responsibilities

  • Based on position as founder/CEO of Swissport/Mass Company, I negotiated directly with National Aviation Services – LLC. Kuwait to enter in to JV agreement and strategic partnership to develop the company in various Airport in Sudan. I led the work legally and financially and led the company in the subsequent stage and changed the company name from Swissport to Nasport Air Handling company with excellent professional and ethical agreement with Swissport International -Zurich as a franchiser and I arranged all the processes that follow the legal transfer and transfer all the company asset and property and contracts to the new name.
  • As a founder/ CEO, I was responsible for securing the funds needed to start the business by meeting with investors or securing loans from a financial institution. I also complete the initial marketing and operations setup, determining the brand persona and establishing a workspace. I have a wide range of responsibilities, which include: Developing and maintaining a company's vision, mission statement, and strategic plan. Setting up systems and procedures to ensure the company's success over time. Reviewing financial statements and other reports to assess the company's performance.
  • Led a team of 450 employees to drive business growth and increase profitability through strategic planning and innovative customer-centric initiatives.
  • Obtained ISO/ ISAGO certifications developed and implemented out of the box thinking and operational plan resulting in 150% increase in revenue and 75% increase in profitability, led the development and launch a new quality and safety system and obtained excellent customer satisfaction driving 80% growth in market share, improving retention by 25% and increasing customer satisfaction scores by 30% built a culture of collaboration and inclusivity , and driving team engagement up by 40% and reducing turnover by 15%.

  • Establish Nasport Security Co. (NASCO) new project for the company operations and as profit center contracted our customer Airlines and others.

  • I led the company operations for more than one year developing and leading a team of 6000 + employees, providing discipline and performance feedback.
  • Managed more than 40 Airports around Africa and Middle east and Asia.
  • Providing leadership and management and fully responsible for the day-to-day running of all stations operational departments including line engineering, ground technical support . Focused on operational set up and contract management and negotiation and strategic forward business planning for all new stations.
  • Reporting directly to the CEO and deputizing the CEO Worldwide while participating within board meetings and all the operational and managerial aspect in all stations.
  • Formulating forecasts and setting budgets with responsibility for the annual turnover.
  • Overseeing the customer service product for 15 million passengers.
  • Building and creating excellent public relations with the officials in the state and with their Civil Aviation Authorities at the internal and external stations and all the authorities at the Airport in facilitating the company’s work at the station in question with the various Airport Authorities.

Accomplishments:

  • After NAS company contracted the state of Afghanistan, entered a into a JV agreement with Afghan Civil Aviation and Ariana Afghan national carrier at all the country Airports , I led the coordination between the partners, and I personal was present at Kabul Airport – Herat Airport and Kandahar Airport , established Ground services at the aforementioned Airports and representing the Board of Directors at NAS/Ariana handling co.
  • In a very short period, the company began to make excellent gross income and super profit margin plus providing distinguished quality services at the aforementioned Airports.
  • While I was in Afghanistan, I worked as technical advisor to the Afghan state Minister of Aviation in developing a road map for the development of Afghanistan Airports, starting with Kabul-Kandahar – Herat Airports, as well as developing and upgrading Afghan Civil Aviation.
  • Started with the company IT department the first Monitored OCC ( operational Control Center ) .

Accomplishment:

  • Led the project of renovation of the Jet star Aircraft new interior , new paint , new Avionics required by Europe standard , overhaul ,Airframe MPI / HSI , for 04 Engines.
  • Early 1998 , I Led the largest maintenance project in the world at Bahrain Airport with ( Duncan Aviation ) one of the largest American Maintenance Co. (MRO) changning the right wing of the 731 Jet Star plane outside the scope of the main maintenance center specialized in maintaining this type of aircraft in the state.
  • I Led the legal Aviation case of Xenel Aviation against Jet Aviation Geneva , as a Chief Pilot and responsible for maintaining the plane and managing the company operations . The company won the legal case with moral and material compensation in the case filed and Jet Aviation officially apologized to our company for error that occurred in maintaining the plane and holding those responsible accountable . The company reported this and modified the system used for maintenance.
