• Being the first point of contact (FPC), maintaining operational communication with designated vessels as per Fleet Group allocation.
• Being aware of and monitoring the safety and pollution aspects of the ship operation.
• Maintenance and input of operational information on Ship Management Software, and other „operational software‟ as applicable.
• Appointing agents as appropriate. Instructing Masters and agents on operational matters.
• Liaising with charterers, owners and agents on operational matters.
• Review of Owners, Mideast and Charterers‟ Deck Logs and Voyage Abstracts.
• Liaising internally with all Mideast Departments on all operational matters.
• Assisting Insurance and Claims with all P&I claims.
• Interviewing potential sea staff and liaison with Crew Co-ordinates on operational matters.
• Authorizing cash advances to Port Agents, cash to Master and agents‟ disbursements.
• Manage office ISPS code responsibilities for nominated vessels, including record maintenance, equipment maintenance, and monthly test routine and annual internal ISPS audit.

• Conducting ISM / ISPS / MLC Audits, Navigation Audits, Internal Audits, Safety Inspections

• Supporting ship's staff in preparation of third party inspection.

• Mentoring other marine superintendents in the group.
• Reviewing Near Miss, Incident and accident report and following up on close out.
• Communication with Flag state, Classification society

• Monitored safety and pollution aspects of ship operations, implementing corrective actions to enhance compliance and operational standards.

A globally exposed Marine Professional with an sailing experience of 13 Years in the deck division and exposed to Oil Tankers; have a knowledge of organizing and managing multifarious responsibilities - supervision, budgeting, purchase, inventory, human resources, health & safety and customer service.
• Ship Master with Bahri Ship Management and success in actively building and maintaining company's reputation for operational excellence both internally as well as with external customers. Exhibited skills in efficiently managing both vessels and personnel on board the ship.
• Exposed to have sailed along major Oil Tankers; Experienced with working with various kind of tankers such as: VLCC's, Suezmax, Aframax, Panamax & Product Carriers on Worldwide voyages.
• Demonstrated success in overseeing a variety of departments and play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared towards operational excellence. Ensured that company keeps abreast of developments from a regulatory, legal, and compliance perspective on a local and international level.
