I also have a strong knowledge in FRP | GRP structures, gratings, and handrails along with heat and mass transfer solutions (process internals) for refinerrie sand petrochemical plants. Lead the growth strategy for our Ductile Iron Pipes and Fittings division, identifying new opportunities, building lasting relationships with clients, and promoting our range of innovative products. This role requires a blend of technical knowledge and sales expertise to communicate the value of our offerings to clients ranging from end users to EPCs and consultants.
Identify and assess new business opportunities within the Water Sector.
Develop a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape and identify gaps to create strategies for market penetration. In addition, prepare and present research studies highlighting the advantages of Ductile Iron Pipes against other piping material such as GRP | HDPE | Steel | OPVC and Asbestos Cement.
Sales & Client Relationship Management:
Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including end clients, EPCs, consultants, and contractors. Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to closing, ensuring exceptional client satisfaction and repeat business. Within the first 3 months I was able to develop 81,000 MT of piping business the market.
Strategic Planning & Execution:
Formulate and implement a strategic business development plan aligned with company goals.
Track sales metrics, generate reports, and adjust strategies based on performance insights.
Technical Expertise & Consultation:
Leverage in-depth knowledge of Ductile Iron pipes, fittings, and accessories to provide clients with technical guidance. Communicate complex technical information in a clear and compelling way to help clients make informed decisions.
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with engineering, factory production, and quality teams to align product offerings with market needs and client expectations. Liaise with marketing to develop targeted campaigns that drive awareness and demand.
