Worked with the Facility Management team of Abu Dhabi Motor Sport Management (ADMM). Technical support, project management and supervision of small-scale projects inside YMC prior to Abu Dhabi Grand prix event. The projects include construction of containerized buildings to fit out works and refurbishment works inside the facility.

• Coordination and supervision of all technical aspects and quality requirements of the project.
• Documentation and written records on progress, executed works, issues, solutions, inspections, change orders, variations, and others aspects that affect the progress of the project.
• Conducted regular site visits and oversee the actual work in progress and quality of work execution as per project specifications.
• Coordination among Consultants, Architects, Engineers, Subcontractors, Supervisors, Planners, Quantity Surveyors and the general work force involved in the project.
• Monitoring and review of progress through regular meeting and reports.
• Assisted the QS for preparing payment certificates for contractors and sub-contractors invoices
• Preparation pf minutes of weekly meetings and circulation to the concerned.
• Management and control of project ensuring compliance with the technical specifications and quality requirements.

The Project is Falcon Eye 2- Phase 2 The project is construction of infrastructure comprising of pole/gantry foundations (either piling or pad footing), trenching, Horizontal Directional Drilling (HDD), installation of pull boxes and cabinet foundations throughout the city of Abu Dhabi for surveillance purpose.

• Preparation of sketches /documents /shop drawing for the purpose of obtaining NOCs and permits such as Tile permit, PRFD permit and permits from authorities like Transco, Gasco, Takreer, ADDC etc.

• Managed the construction execution team (Day and Night shift) and all sub-contractors work and their progress. The execution team consists of several groups including Senior Project Engineers, Project / Site Engineers, foremen and 300 to 400 labors

• Ensure all activities are executed as per latest construction drawing, specification and as per Authority requirements

• Coordinate and resolve with Consultant and Client all issues related to work execution. Attend weekly construction meeting and safety meeting with consultant and Client representatives

• Coordinate with the Traffic management contractor for obtaining work permit from AD police for all activities such as piling, pole erection, HDD works and trenching and Gantry erection

• Ensure safe execution of work. Attend safety inspection with Consultant and Client • Inform execution team of all changes / SWI related work and monitor the progress

• Assist QA/QC team to prepare Method of statements, ITPs etc.

• Coordinate with QS changes due to issued SWI and PMI • Handover / Close out / TOC coordination and monitoring • Review and approval of as-built drawings and dossiers

• Conduct training on project execution procedure / method statement for all execution team

• Manage all the reinstatement work after completion and handing over of civil work to client including tile and grass reinstatement as per ADM Specifications and hand over reinstatement work to ADM

The Projects are Falcon Eye and Falcon Eye 2 Phase 1. The Projects include the construction and installation of infrastructure for surveillance cameras on Poles and gantries in Abu Dhabi Island and Mussafah region. The design and concept was done by ATS group Ltd specialized in innovative solutions in the areas of critical infrastructure and border protection.

• Supervise all civil infrastructure works such as piling, foundation installation for electrical cabinets, trench work, HDDs and pole/gantry erection

• Setting out of all sites within the project as per consultant and contractor guide lines.

• Ensure that all materials used according to project specifications • Advise construction manager of any and all unexpected technical problems that may arise with intended design, material or delay in program schedule

• Act as main technical advisor to the subcontractors, operatives and craft people with respect to the assigned construction sites.

• Manage, monitor and interpret the design of the construction documents that have been supplied to contractor and ensure deployment in time to quality for each site

• Highlight and manage necessary design changes at site in cooperation with design engineer

• Provide daily and weekly field status reports on the progress of the project including labor and material up-dates. Arrange daily progress meeting with consultant construction manager and contractor representatives to ensure that daily program for each day is achieved and troubleshoot any problems that may arise in the following days’ work

• Define countermeasures in case of deviations to plan and reporting any impacts to the master work program. That includes daily and weekly progress report as required by the costumer

• Manage and issue handover certificates of civil works and coordinate with the end point team

• Monitor outstanding snags until final take-over of the project is completed

Code Contracting Company LLC deals with construction and maintenance of all kinds of building and their electro-mechanical work. I was appointed project engineer to the construction of an eight storied residential/commercial building The project started in July 2006 and I joined after the pile foundations were completed, in October 2006. The project was completed successfully in November 2009 after variations were proposed to the project design in April 2008. The project was later transformed in to Burjeel Hospital.

• Worked as the Civil Project Engineer for the Construction of Burjeel Hospital

• Prepared the monthly running invoice and get it approved from Consultant.

• Responsible for the Site Supervision, labor allocation and site procurement of construction materials

• Supervision and execution of all Civil Works including structural works ( Piling, raft foundation, concreting for columns, beams and slabs) and finishing works

• Coordinated with the Consultant ( APG Group Abu Dhabi) for the inspection and testing of works and materials

• Subcontractor coordination for façade works ( Aluminum cladding and glass curtain walls and windows)

• Preparation of Shop drawings for the finishing works such as flooring, painting, joinery and false ceiling works

• Coordinated with works with in house MEP team for the HVAC, plumbing and electrical works
