Undergoing my bachelors in exercise and sports science in Kenyatta University; my interests in functional movement and injury management led me to being drafted into the university rugby team as their intern sports scientist. While with the rugby team, attended training courses and got accredited as a Medic by World Rugby Union, Rugby Concussion Management, Rugby 15 Aside coaching certificate, and player welfare management.

The Kenya national men's rugby team under the Kenya Rugby Union and the World Rugby Union. The team participates in world class rugby tournaments with top ranked athletes.
While on a preseason camp, the team was preparing for the 2014 International Rugby 7's tournament, doing a three-month university internship in the departments of physiotherapy and conditioning.
