My main pedagogical philosophy is that all students, regardless of background or circumstances, can successfully behave mathematically. I believe that for students to behave mathematically, students have the ability to notice, reason, connect, explain, justify, convince, conjecture, and prove. Growing up, I was fascinated by how diverse individuals were in terms of their talents and interests. I passionately believe that everyone deserves an equal opportunity to excel and achieve and that no one should be left aside. My commitment to this philosophy became stronger as I grew older, culminating in a passion for inclusive education and special educational needs, specific to mathematics. During my time at Manchester Metropolitan University, I recognised that special needs education emphasizes giving support and tools to students with varying abilities and needs, empowering them to achieve in their educational path.
