I started off my career as Roast technician officially 3(three) years ago with CUP OF EXCELLENCE Ethiopia in Jan/ 2020 as Roast technician, under John Thomson and the Head Judge Paul Songer.
My every Day task was Roasting Ethiopian Different varieties and Origins of coffee 120 batch Depending on the Information I get from the green bean lab about Density, Moisture content, Water Activity and Altitude of the coffee by calibrating for each type of green beans using a Crop star roasting intelligence software.
The top-scoring coffee in the 2020 Cup of Excellence Ethiopia competition sold at 1$85.10 /pound or $407 /kg and in 2021 the top scoring 90.6 winning coffee.
