Responsibilities:

• Detailed Engineering and Implementation of Electrical Control and Automation including Power Management Systems using ABB's 800xA for Substation, Industries, Oil & Energy Plants
• Customer coordination, Design Input validation, Engineering optimization, Deliverable's control, Material Ordering, Control Cabinets - Design, documentation and approval handling
• Planning, scheduling, overseeing, and documenting, as well delivering projects within schedule, budget and quality standards
• Preparing Functional Design Specification (FDS) and Project specific documents and submit to customer for pre-approval before execution of project
• Conduct Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) and Site Acceptance Test (SAT) with clients / end user
• Configure AC800M Controller and Communication Interfaces using Control Builder tool for various Power Management System applications (Load shedding, Active/Reactive Power Control, Generator /Turbine Control, Transformer Control, Circuit Breaker Control, Motor Control, Re-acceleration etc.)
• Configure IEDs and AC800M Controller-CI868 using IEC61850 Configuration Tool (IET) for MMS (Vertical Communication) and Goose (Horizontal Communication)
• Configure and Testing Modbus devices (Serial, TCP/IP), IEC60870-5-101/104 SCADA Data points
• Data Access (DA) and Alarm/Event configuration (AE), Data Historians using Connectivity Server - Communication Engineering Tool Simulation testing of IEDs using ITT SA Synthesizer tool, TMW Testing Tool and Omicron IED scout
• Interfacing controllers or other devices with HMI using Aspect and Domain Servers, Configuration of Ethernet switch, Protocol Converters, Gateways and Implement Cyber Security for safe operations.

Responsibilities:

• Power Grid/Grid Automation, Detailed Engineering, Testing & Commissioning of Substation Automation Systems using ABBs MicroSCADA Servers and Gateway
• Working with IEC61850 Configuration Tool (IET), PCM tool, ITT SA Synthesizer, Configuring servers (HMI's), Gateway, IED, Ethernet switch and Peripheral devices
• Engineering of various control logics, interlocks, protection schemes and substation control Desk with standard protocols (IEC61850, 101, 104, Modbus, TCP/IP)
• IEC61850 configurations of CID/SCD file (Dataset, Report control block, client configurations) and Goose configurations for Bay control unit, Protection IEDs and Tap regulation unit
• Trouble shooting, fault investigations concerning Power Systems Automation, remote assistance & technical advice on matters related to automation products and SCADA
• Train system operators for maintenance and troubleshooting, train engineers for design and engineering of automation system.

Responsibilities:

• Design, Engineering, Logic and Interlock development for SCADA HMI / BCU / Relay, Integration of IEDs / Meters in bay level and station level
• Conduct point to point test to SCADA & Gateway as per IEC-61850, IEC101/104 and Modbus protocols
• Testing of control scheme & various protection relays (Distance, Differential, Over Current, Earth Fault, etc) and make necessary modifications in the panels, inputs to engineering for final as-built drawing
• Factory Acceptance Test, Site Acceptance Test with customers and proper documentation of reports
• Understanding the scope of work, ensuring correct functionality of system in line with specifications and standards in order to complete job without snag list
• Support to customers for installation, cabling, service, maintenance, operations, trouble shooting, remote assistance & training for automation system.
