• Responsible for all HR, legal, and general affairs functions of Toshiba.
• Collaborating with BU Heads on their yearly business goals and devising HR plans that are required to support these goals.
• Support business with HR processes such as manpower planning, budgeting, talent acquisition and development, performance management, succession planning, compensation & rewards strategy, and employee engagement.
• Oversee the hiring and recruitment process of the company including creating and managing budgets, and partnering with the right search firms, social media channels, job boards, and university associations.
• Work with BU Heads and Senior Managers to establish their team’s performance KPIs, document them in the form of job descriptions, and track progress through effective MIS reporting systems.
• Design training and development programs aimed at skills and knowledge impartment. Improve business results by increasing the workforce's competency capacity.
• Work with HQ on audit requirements and compliance matters. Prepare compliance checklists and evaluate existing processes and identify gaps. Come up with corrective and preventive actions to bridge the gaps.
• Created succession planning for critical roles and assessed staff performance and their potential, extracted results, and built a data pool around these measures. Established assessment centers, 360 feedback, and role-play methodologies for Leadership assessment.
• Drafted various company policies, regulations, and processes in line with local laws and labor regulations.
• Responsible for several administrative leadership functions that included Employee Relations, Team Building, Wellness Planning, Health, and Safety planning, Business Legal matters (e.g Contractual issues, IP-related matters, Lawsuits), Business Continuity Planning, CSR activities, Employee Insurance, Payroll, WhistleBlower System monitoring, Vendor Management, Business Risk Planning and Audits, Employee Records keeping, Leaves Management, Licensing etc.
• Performed hiring at all levels and categories including blue-collar to knowledge workers.
• Had set up the HR department from scratch by establishing all HR processes, policies, and workflows followed by training and implementation.
• Advised decision-makers on complex and confidential matters ranging from contract staffing, training, performance management, compensation, and employee relations.
• Handled employee relations at the factory setup by promoting welfare programs and through feedback and constant interactions.

· Performed job analysis and created job descriptions and job specifications for various job roles.
· Have 1000+ hours of hiring experience, including selection tests and competency-based interviewing. I have traveled to Europe, India, and Oman on recruitment drives.
· Have reduced employee turnover to 7% using effective communication and retention strategies.
· Set up a competency framework, HR policies, workload analysis charts, workforce planning charts, succession planning based on employee performance data, and an employee handbook for effective onboarding.
· Managed learning and development functions using the ADDIE model. Implemented AI tools to track learning progress and skill development and analyzed AI data to further enhance staff training.
· Introduced digital systems, AI solutions, and HR process integration for recruitment and training functions, thereby improving operational efficiency. Chatbot for onboarding are a work in progress.
