I lead a well-structured and mature R&D and laboratory organization operating across six locations, with headquarters in the UAE, managing 55+ chemists and chemical engineers across R&D, quality control, certifications, application laboratories, training, customer technical support, and after-sales service. I have built clear development pipelines, benchmarking practices, and quality systems that allow teams to innovate efficiently while maintaining consistency, speed, and reliability. I stay close to manufacturing operations, ensuring laboratory KPIs are fully aligned with production KPIs. My role includes supporting plants with troubleshooting, process optimization, root-cause analysis, and lean manufacturing initiatives to improve stability, reduce waste, and increase overall efficiency. Customer and market support are a core part of my work. I oversee technical customer support and complaint management, support key accounts, and work closely with sales and marketing teams on pre-sales support, system specifications, product positioning, and competitive benchmarking. I also lead the preparation and governance of technical datasheets, system manuals, and catalogues, ensuring clarity and technical credibility in every market. I strongly believe in training and knowledge transfer. I have established internal and external technical training programs for R&D teams, plant staff, sales teams, distributors, and customers, ensuring alignment between product development, application know-how, and commercial execution. I am responsible for certifications, specifications, and third-party testing, particularly for industrial protective coatings, flooring systems, and exterior wood preservation technologies, ensuring that all product guarantees are technically sound and consistently supported across plants and regions. At group level, I work closely with executive leadership to align technology, innovation, and operational execution with the company’s long-term vision, growth strategy, and transformation initiatives. I am known for bridging strategy and execution, building strong technical teams, and delivering results that support both operational excellence and sustainable business growth.
