Accomplishments

  • Contributed as one of the PMC Team (Wood)- The purpose of the project: Increasing MIDOR refining plant capacity by 60% of the current capacity (100,000 bbl/day) by carrying out the work of the second phase of the future expansion project by upgrading the current production units and establishing new units to keep pace with international standards up to (EURO V) and maximizing the production of middle distillates of high-octane gasoline and jet fuel, and high-quality diesel, by adding new units like Distillate hydrotrater, hydrocracker, ARU, SRU, CDU/VDU, de-asphalting, LPG, storage tanks, Utilities and N2& H2 production units.
  • Contributed as one of the PMC Team (Worley Parsons) - The project aims to increase the production of the Gasoline and its petroleum products to satisfy the increasing local market demand by building a new Naphtha Complex with new units like Isomerization and Continuous Catalyst Reformation (CCR).
  • ­ Contributed as the site manager for the installation of new 2 EA Wauksha engine driving areal compressor units of capacity 10 MMSCFD to compress from the existing 30 PSI system pressure to 350 PSI system including tie in activities.
  • ­ Modifying a de-salter vessel to free water knock out drum, Fabricate and erect new internals (stilling baffles, oil separation weir and vortex breaker) and setting up interconnecting piping.
  • ­ Contributed as the site manager for the rehabilitation of Gas Plant Stabilizer re-boiler and uniflux heaters, demolishing the external piping, the stack, convection box, the arch., the internal radiation coils, make repair for the cracks in the outer surface of the shell and made repair for the refractory lining the internal surface of the shell, installed new floor arch, convection, stack and external piping all with total cost 2,000,000$, upgraded the reboiler with new burner management system (BMS) to comply with the latest industry standards/precautions to confirm safely start and normal operations.
  • ­ ­ Contributed as the site manager for setting up of new facilities, expansions, upgrades and modifications for onshore piping, pipeline in Oil & gas process plants.
  • ­ Major repairs for 30 km from 262 km total length for 24" shipping gas pipeline from AG site to Dahshour refinery including hot tapping and stoppling operation.
  • ­ Construction 60 KM varied sizes of HP gas, oil & water flow line and connecting to Well head and facilities to transfer the production.
  • Engineering/construction activities related to subsea P/L laying, setting up of new facilities, expansions, upgrades and modifications for about 73 satellite and complex platforms in the Gulf of Suez offshore oil and gas fields.
