Core Responsibilities

• Responsible for all projects in MENA & CIS regions from Project Kick-off to Delivery
• Recommend suitable product line to meet customer requirement
• Establish high level project goals to carry out directives of top management.
• Develop and maintain project tasks, milestones, resources, costs, execution plans (PEP), risk registers etc and communicate deadlines to complete projects on time.
• Direct and manage project team members (engineers, supervisors, quality inspectors etc.)
• Lead project kick-off and routine project meetings with the cross-functional teams
• Actively monitor changes to scope, schedule & budgets
• Ensure project outputs are in accordance with all applicable requirements and within budget
• Coordinate with engineering team to prepare engineering documentation related to product component design and review the same prior to application.
• Act as the key interface for project communication, Present project information and status updates to Top Management & customers
• Active participation in vendor qualification & Management
• Liaise with Product Licensing / certifying authorities (API, European council etc.) to obtain responses to queries
• Contribute towards improving quality management system by performing Internal Audits and suggesting improvement

Accomplishments

• Substantially improved “On time delivery” of projects.
• Managed a cross-functional team to establish and maintain a quality management system that complies with API Q1 and ISO 9001:2015.
• Successfully leads the team through yearly product certification license Audits of API 6A, 16A, 16C, PED (CE) etc.
• Actively contributed to implement ERP system (Infor CloudSuit) at WOM ME and to develop a project document repository
• Represents WOM in international Oil & Gas industry trade shows (ADIPEC, Petrotech etc.).
• Served as the chair of ‘safety committee’ for WOM group (ME region) to evaluate safety policies / procedures and suggest improvements as required.

EPC Projects

• Provide Technical Support for Piping & Mechanical equipment Installation
• Manage Fabrication and installation of Pipe Supports
• Monitor Site Operations & Report daily progress
• Hired and supervised subcontractors for Pipe support fabrication to improve production and meet critical deadlines.
• Confirmed that construction progressed as scheduled and in compliance with contract specifications.
• Prepared documentation that would be used in requests for proposal.
