PROJECT: AL OMAIRAH G-ISLAND (Lower Zakkum)

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Prepare, supervise and monitor of all lifting activities in the yard, barges, jetty and workshop located in Dubai Water Front, Jabel ali.
• Before starting the lifting activities, Ensure that all rigging tackles used for lifting are in good condition.
• Ensure Color code System.
• Perform toolbox meetings before starting the activities regarding safety and how to perform the job in a safe manner and briefing the RA (Risk Assessment) to the lifting team.
• Daily hazard checklists and certifications of crew and equipment.
• Prepare permits for crane lifting activities.
• Guide and Co-Ordinate with rigging foreman and riggers for any critical lifting activities.
• Calculate crane capacity in regard to the load to be lifted as well as the slings to be used.
• Pulled all measurements and made calculations to determine the rigging and equipment needed to complete the job.
• Provide advice, recommendations, and information on safety issues with regard to climbing equipment and working at height.
• Ensure the rigging team and technical personnel respect standards and regulations regarding rigging equipment safety and apply safe work methods.
• Ensure that all safety items required in the permit to work (PTW) are adequate/available and ensure full compliance with the PTW during the task being carried out.
• Responsible for the mobilization & de-mobilization of items to AL OMAIRAH ISLAND.
• Conduct the lifting of critical and heavy equipments like quarry run jetty, Triangular tripod structure from jetty to barge.
• Conduct and review the quay wall blocks lifting and shifting.
• Conduct spud installation and spud removal operation from many barges.
• Preparation of 2D & 3D drawings in Autocad.
• Coordinate all the inspections and testing happening in the yard, including cranes, heavy machineries, towing gears and all lifting gears and lifting appliances as per ADNOC standard.

• Responsibilities as Lifting Engineer(sub contract by Jan De Nul- DWF)
• Conducted thorough risk assessment for lifting operations, considering factors such as load weight, equipment stability and environmental conditions.
• Developed detailed plans for lifting activities, including crane selection, lifting points, and communication procedures.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety regulations, standards, and industry guidelines related to lifting operations.
• Chosen appropriate lifting equipment based on the nature of the load, site conditions, and safety requirements.
• Effectively communicated lifting plans and safety protocols to the lifting team, crane operators, and other stakeholders involved in the operation.
• Provided on-site supervision during lifting activities, monitoring the execution of the plan to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Developed and implemented contingency plans for emergency situations during lifting operations.
• Select the suitable crane for lifting operation as per the utilization ratio.
• Maintained accurate records of lifting plans, risk assessments, and any incidents or near misses. Ensure all documentation is up-to-date and easily accessible.
• Provided training and guidance to the lifting team on safe lifting practices, equipment operation, and emergency procedures.
• Evaluated the effectiveness of lifting operations, identified areas for improvement, and implemented corrective actions to enhance safety and efficiency.
• Collectively contributed to the safe and efficient execution of lifting operations at the project.

• Prepare & Verify All the Quality Documents in the Organization.
• Organize, implement, conduct and manage the QA/QC Programs as per the Company's Quality Policy.
• Prepare and Update the Quality Manual for ISO 17020:2012 and ISO 17024:2012 & ISO 9001:2015.
• Represent the Company in Dubai Municipality Audits, Bureau Veritas Audits and All Other Audits as a Management Representative.
• Conduct the Internal Audit in the Organization in ISO 17020:2012 & ISO 9001:2015.
• Prepare the Preventive Action and Corrective Actions for the NCR Occurred in the External Audits.
• Prepare the Quality Objectives and ensure that all the Objectives are met.
• Prepare the Training Schedule for the QMS & Technical Training.
• Schedule and Coordinate Management Review Meetings with Higher management and prepared meeting report according to.
• Ensure that Non-Conformance Report (NCR) is raised once the activities deviated from the QMS.
• Coordinate with the Technical Manager regarding work performance and hold authority to stop work in any area where discrepancies remain uncorrected and/or cancel the stop work order upon satisfactory correction of noted deficiencies.
• Conduct QMS Training to the Engineers.

• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of Tower Crane as per British standard BS 7121-2.
• Conduct thorough inspection and make a report regarding the result of the inspection and give recommendation if the crane is unsafe for use.
• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of passenger and Material Hoist as per BS 7212-2.
• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of Mobile Crane as per British standard BS 7121-2.

• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of Mobile Crane as per British standard BS 7121-2& Guideline DM-PH&SD-P4-TG21.
• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of E.O.T Crane as per British standard BS 7121-2.
• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of Fork Lift per BS EN 5639, BS EN 22915.
• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of Cradle Hoist as per BS 1808:2015.
• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of Air compressor/Receiver as per BS EN 764.
• Inspection of all kind of loose lifting gears.

• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of Mobile Crane as per British standard BS 7121-2.
• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of E.O.T Crane as per British standard BS 7121-2.
• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of Fork Lift per BS EN 5639, BS EN 22915.
• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of Cradle Hoist as per BS 1808:2015.
• Inspection of safety operation and general safety regulation of Air compressor/Receiver as per BS EN 764.
