• Team Leadership & Coordination
• Leads and mentors a team of E&I Supervisors, JPs, Electricians, and Technicians in executing installation tasks.
• Collaborates closely with Construction Managers to sequence and prioritize daily activities.
• Instrumentation & Electrical Installation
• Manages installation of Telecom systems, process control system components and field instruments (CCTV, PAGA, ICSS panels, valves, switches, gauges, transmitters, fire & gas devices, junction boxes etc.).
• Oversees installation of instrument supports, trays, conduits, ducts, lighting fixtures, and earthing systems.
• Manages cable and tube laying in concrete and buried trenches, trays and conduits; coordinates glanding and termination as per project schedules.
• Testing & Quality Assurance
• Conducts continuity, insulation resistance, and functional loop checks on instruments and power systems.
• Performs visual inspections of instrumentation systems, devices, battery systems, sockets, and lighting for compliance with ratings and materials.
• Issues and manages Quality Control documentation; closes out punch-list items and ensures corrective actions.
• Health, Safety & Environment
• Enforces strict adherence to HSE policies; conducts toolbox talks and verifies that site activities meets regulatory standards.
• Secures and verifies all relevant HSE certificates before commencing high-risk tasks.
• Reporting & Communication
• Prepares daily/weekly progress reports, presentations, and status updates for stakeholders.
