  • Execution of post-merger Network Strategy across 2 of the largest TPA's leveraging overall market share to improve Provider commercial contracts with Providers.
  • Creation of innovative Network solution for IPMI clients of Cigna resulting in new product launch for mid-market segment (post COVID -19 market need)
  • Creation of Basic networks for Blue Collar segments attending to mandatory insurance of Abu Dhabi (Dept of Health) and Dubai. (DHA)
  • Lead in the signing of the first TPA contract by Public health services (SEHA, Abu Dhabi) in the UAE with annual cost savings of over $5M.
  • Cost control savings of $3 Million plus through a combination of TPA and Provider negotiations and case management activities at NHI
  • At Allianz Worldwide Care (AWC), Led the Africa and Middle East team to create 8500 new access points across Middle East, Africa, and the Indian Sub-continent for an IGO client in the last year. (includes challenging set up in Iran, Yemen, Syria Central African Republic, Republic of Congo etc.)
  • Lead on the Global Procurement Strategy for AWC Globally in 2013. The objectives of this project mainly included adopting a uniform to report Provider price increases and country price inflation.
  • Set up the Direct Billing Network for Allianz Worldwide Care in the UAE & GCC from initiation. The Network today comprises a total of 4500 plus Providers and was then the largest Provider network amongst International Insurers
  • Improved Direct billing performance from 40% share in frequency in 2011 to 90% by end of year 2015. (This is calculated by Direct billing to reimbursement claims ratio)
  • Expansion of the AWC In-Patient Network to a Direct Billing Network including Out-patient, In-patient services and Dental, Optical services in Qatar in 2 months' time in line with the launch of the product and a major client policy inception. (Addition of 300 Providers within 60 days)
  • Streamlined pre-approvals and claims process with key Providers to ensure year on year compliance of 90% plus to guidelines resulting in minimal rejections to Providers.
  • Agreements with Community based doctors (CBD) at negotiated rates who generally do not deal with Insurers to accept AWC members.
  • Annual savings from Provider Claims - 15% on overall claims spent (3.5 Million USD). Consistently over 4 years.
